The artist that inspired me was Chuck close. I was inspired by his self portraits.

I used painting, clay making, and drawing skills in my projects. I decided to work with these skills as they are the most appropriate for portraits.

To developers my initial idea, I created 2 chuck close inspired portraits. The portrait I am currently working on is nature themed, based off of my clay creation.

The theme behind my outcomes is portraits and nature. What I meant to portray behind the leaves is the beauty of things we see all around us daily, such as faces and nature.
