Going Beyond Campus Development
We are a small school, but we certainly punch above our weight. That’s because we’re the right size – and we think and dream big!

Nicola Sparrow School DirectorThere are many things that have stayed the same since Aiglon’s birth in 1949: beginning the day with meditation, expeditions, skiing, and creating a close knit community that forms lifelong relationships.
However, now more than ever, Aiglon is committed to excellence and professionalism. We provide the highest standard of academic instruction which permeates everything we do both inside and outside the classroom, we promote sustainability through campus development and through student lead programmes, we instil a sense of responsibility in our students to foster philanthropy and an awareness of corporate responsibility. We develop responsible global citizens. Our employment strategy allows us to find and attract the best staff, not only teachers, but in every area of the operating company, from compliance, to finance, HR and administration.
Seeking continuous improvement is a never-ending journey that requires dedication, commitment and a willingness to embrace change. By professionalising staff, improving academic results, expanding the expedition programme, and encouraging local and global service, Aiglon creates a culture of excellence that benefits students, staff and the wider community.

At Aiglon, a growth mindset sets the tempo for change. This is not about growing in size, but creating an environment that fosters continuous improvement.
The Moghadam Campus Hub will be the heart of the campus and will create a sense of community by providing an inclusive space for students and staff to gather and interact every day, starting from morning meditation.
At Aiglon, the importance of community cannot be overstated, and this new building will be a crucial component in bringing people together. It will serve as the central gathering point for the entire campus, where students, faculty, and staff can come together throughout the day. It will accommodate social events and gatherings, including meditation, assemblies, lectures, performances and communal dining, strengthening the community feel that lives at the heart of our educational approach.
The architectural design encapsulates the chalets-on-the-hill style, yet it will be Aiglon’s most ambitious construction to date. The project is grounded in long-term sustainability. Each element of our Campus Masterplan is thought through and regularly interrogated by a wide range of stakeholders. Every project must be sustainable, improve connectivity and be Masterplan relevant.
The mostly timber-framed, insulated structure will meet Swiss Minergie standards. It will be heated with a green timber pellet system, which will have the capacity to provide energy to surrounding buildings. There will be a solar panel roof and the project seeks to contribute to our broader aim to reduce Aiglon’s energy consumption by over 10% by 2029.
Thus, in considering both form and function and reaching a balance in the final design, we are convinced the environment created will positively impact the landscape, capture natural energy and light, be conducive to meditation, optimise life on campus and promote overall well-being.
Aiglon is seeking donors who will be inspired by the leadership of Hamid and Tina Moghadam who have gifted $6 million towards the project and will be acknowledged through the lasting impact of giving their name to this complex.
We are very ambitious - our goal is to establish Aiglon as the best international boarding school in the world. The Moghadam Campus Hub is a CHF 30 million project, the biggest and most ambitious Aiglon has ever undertaken. Becoming the literal and physical heart of the campus, this building will transform lives for generations to come. Will you join us in our belief to go beyond the ordinary and support this project?
