GUIDELINES


Our logo Primary logo The KX logo should be used in black on white – or in white on black. It can also be used on our secondary colored backgrounds and over imagery (but please ensure optimum legibility) in either white or black – but the KX logo should never appear in any other colour.

Logo clear space & minimum size There must be a minimum space surrounding the KX logo. Determine how much space is required by using half the height of the 'K'. Logo Minimum size Print: width = 20mm Digital: height = 18px

For consistency our preference is top left1, followed by bottom left2 or middle3.

Logo | Partner lock-ups on light backgrounds When creating a partner lock-up on a light background please use the following guidelines: > Use the KX logo as a spacer to set the distance between the two logos > Include a divider line set to 34° in the middle of the KX spacer > Divider line colour is KX grey 2 > Always use the full colour version of the partner logo > Scale the partner logo to match the height of the KX logo > When a logo doesn’t fit optically, such as the ASW or Azure logo, use your discretion to ensure it fits in a harmonious way > Please check partner brand guidelines to ensure the correct colour version of their logo is used in the correct format. Partner lock-ups are not intended to replace the use of the KX logo, their use must be considered. Please consult with your Head of Marketing before creating any new lock-ups.

Logo | Partner lock-ups on dark backgrounds When creating a partner lock-up on a dark background please use the following guidelines: > Use the KX logo as a spacer to set the distance between the two logos > Include a divider line set to 34° in the middle of the KX spacer > Divider line colour is 70% KX black > Always use the white out version of the partner logo > Scale the partner logo to match the height of the KX logo > When a logo doesn’t fit optically, such as the ASW logo, use your discretion to ensure it fits in a harmonious way > Please check partner brand guidelines to ensure the correct colour version of their logo is used in the correct format. Logo | Title lock-ups The KX logo can be combined with title text, for example in our email template headers. (See brand examples at the back of this document)

KX colour palette Colour is a valuable asset for the KX brand identity. It helps us gain recognition and builds familiarity through strong, confident and consistent use of colour.

Primary Colour KX Black and white have been selected for their simplicity and efficiency. Accent Colour These colour should be used more sparingly throughout our brand.

Ensure you use the correct hex or RGB values for all digital applications. Only use the CMYK or Pantone values for print. It is important to note that white space is also a key element to our identity.

IMPORTANT COLOUR NOTE As you will see on the next page – the KX black is made up of the CMYK breakdown used by Pantone Black 6. It is a rich black – that has softer hues than 100%K. Wherever possible please use the 4 colour black but we do allow the single colour black to be used in Office based applications. Secondary Colour KX Blue is the colour we turn to when we need to pick out a detail in another colour. 015
