Munich Airport has a track record of staging large scale events in the plaza between terminals 1 & 2. At the moment, the airport has built a giant screen and stands holding 2000+ showing World Cup matches (despite Germany’s early exit).

This will be followed up in August, by the “Bike and Style” event.

Running over 17 days, this is an international mountain biking tournament, which will see MUC build a 3,000 square meter bike parcours with a giant ramp and a 500 seat grandstand.
