Southwest Airlines - Super Mario Maker 2

Southwest Airlines says that it is celebrating “a summer of surprises” with Nintendo Switch. To kick off the partnership, the airline staged a Nintendo-themed gaming fight from Dallas to San Diego, coinciding with the annual Comic Con convention.

Nintendo representatives onboard provided passengers with the opportunity to play a custom air travel-themed Super Mario Maker 2 course, called the Southwest Super Sky Challenge.

Everyone onboard who played the game was entered for a chance to win a $500 gift card from the airline and a Nintendo Switch prize pack containing a Nintendo Switch system and a download code for a digital version of the Super Mario Maker 2 game.

At the same time, Southwest and Nintendo have been running a month long Let’s Play Getaway sweepstakes, giving one person each day the chance to win a Nintendo Switch system and a download code for the digital version of the SuperMario Maker 2 game.

The whole promotion has been hosted on a special campaign microsite.
