On September 15, former St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley was found not guilty in the death of Anthony Lamar Smith, according to a press release from St. Louis circuit attorney Kimberly Gardner this morning. Stockley had been charged with first-degree murder after fatally shooting Smith following a high-speed chase in 2011.
