Dickson Graeagle Team’s February 2017 Newsletter In our annual review of these areas that we serve, most communities showed fewer units sold in 2016 than 2015, but home prices increased in most of them. Economic forecasters are indicating that we should expect interest rate hikes in 2017, and property values are also expected to rise. All in all, these are positive factors, pointing towards a rejuvenated economy. We look forward to serving your real estate needs in 2017 and beyond!

Dickson Graeagle Team’s February 2017 Newsletter Making Homeownership Affordable for Millennials The new year is off to a busy start with January quickly coming to a close. If you have the goal of buying a home in 2017, don’t let the stress of having to put 20% down dissuade you from making your dream a reality. This is not your only option. From down payment assistance programs through Guild and the state of California to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac low down payment options to a variety of Grant Programs (which provide forgivable money towards your down payment), there is a world of untapped resources out there for the taking. Additionally, the recent raise in conventional loan limits from $417,000 to $424,100, gives the homebuyer more purchasing power. The process of obtaining a loan is specific to each individual and we work hard to find the best fit for each situation. We want to give you the power to buy the home of your dreams. Rates are expected to go up, so now is an excellent time to buy so you can lock in a lower rate. If you, your child or any other family member is interested in looking into different options, please don’t hesitate to contact The Rice Team at Team@thericeteam.com or call (530) 582-9991 for more information.
