TO OUR 2015, LUXURY MARKET REPORT. Welcome to our Luxury Market Report for the 1st quarter of 2015 highlighting the news and trends of luxury home sales in our region. This first quarter showed an increase in the number of sales as well as an increase in average sales prices as compared to the 1st quarter of 2014. The number of active homes available in the luxury market decreased over 15% from the end of 2014 to the end of this 1st quarter of 2015, confirming the steady and consistent growth that our luxury specialists forecast at the end of last year. Interest rates remain historically low for those buyers who may be considering financing for a home purchase, although the majority of sales in the luxury market continue to be cash transactions.
