Angel Perez

It will be recalled that a manifest of the bus line Transportes Frontera allegedly for a bus trip frolll Mexico City to·Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, on October 2,3, 1963, contained ~among other names that of Angel Perez, Seat Number 13,. No destination \\'as indica te-d for him nor was a ticket number listed. On April 1, 1964, through cooperation of John W. Lewis, Supervi:;;or, lt!a'.>ter Index Unit, Central Office, Immigration and Naturalization Service, a se;;l,rch w:;,s made of all records of temporary visitors from Mezico (I-94 Forms), also all records of such nonimmigrant visitors who w~re in the category of "overstays", also all ca.rds in master index, under the name, of Angel Perez. It is estilnated that somewhat. in excess of 3,000 cards were examined and no record was located for aL entry of a Mexican citizen named Angel Perez who entered the United States at Laredo, Texas, on October 3,4, and 5, 1963, or. November 2, 1963. This master index also includes aliens who have become naturalized citizens in the United States. RE\/fEWEO BY FBI/JFK TASK FORCE

LEE HARVEY OSWALD When they returned to the hotel, LIMA, age 58 1 usually went up to the room and MORALES, a younger man, would stay in the hotel lobby. They were not acquainted with any hotel guests prior to registering at the hotel. · MORALES became acquainted, casually through friendly overtures with several___..c(f/ the hotel· guests whom MORALES later intPoduced \;t tlMA, They thusly became acquainted with one GABRI "'"!\ ONTRERAS of ChihuaJ:cua_, __ M.~?Cico_, and whom LIMA be leVes to be a retirep-railroad man. They had drinks~ with the Cubans, names unrecalled, several times. LIMA believes the three Cubans they met at first were in the hotel when LIMA and MORALES registered, Two of the Cubans were Negro males whom he Pecalled only as young, tall and slender', and one of them resided with and was supported by a Cuban Negro woman in the hotel, The third Cuban was a male, age 44-46 1 five _feet, ten inches to five feet, eleven inches tall, with dark hair and /( eyes, dark complexion, who appeared to be possibly part N:=gro. These three Cubans had no apparent occupation, On about September 23 1 1963 1 these three Cubans "Jent to the airport at Mexico City and met a fourth Cuban who arrived by plane from Cuba. He was described as white male, age 54-58 1 five feet, seven inches to five feet, eight inches tall, graying brown hair, gray mustache, who claimed to have owned a large Panch near Havana, Cuba, which ranch was confiscated by CASTRO, The four Cubans were anti-CASTRO and denounced CASTRO for his actions, policies and political philosophy. The latter Cuban departed Mexico City via plane en route to Miami, Florida, to join his wife, having received money by check from Florida, His departure was on about Oct-ober 8 1 19 63, Some time before this Cuban departed, a street photographer took a picture of LH1A, MORALES, CONTRERAS, and the two older .Cuban men, which picture each signed on the back on the reverse of his respective photograph and this photograph was retained by CONTRERAS. -
