Dr. Goldberg graduated summa cum laude from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York City, and then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Goldberg has participated in multiple clinical trials and has been an “expert reviewer” in gastroenterology for the Florida Department of Health for over twenty-five years. He is highly skilled in the latest gastrointestinal procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s epithelium (a premalignant condition of the esophagus), as well as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. He has substantial experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
