Mary Richardson is a native of Lisman, AL. She received Bachelor’s degrees Justin Wilcox graduated from Wilcox County High School in 2008 where in Business Administration and Business Education and a Masters in Business he was named Most Valuable Player during his senior year. Other high Education from Livingston University school honors include: North South (University of West Alabama). Richardson All Star Game; All Region and All State holds a doctorate degree in Educational Player, and Best Offensive Player. He Leadership from Argosy University. She taught attended Albany Technical College and for over 20 years in the Business Administrative played basketball for the Titans during the Technology program and served as chairperson 2009-2011 seasons. While a Titan, Wilcox for four years. She serves as advisor to SGA received the Presidential Scholar Award; and the ATC Ambassadors as well as Student the Winta Majors Community Service Activities Director. She is a graduate of Award, the B. J. Brown Coach’s award; and Leadership Albany 2007 and is a member of GCAA Player of the Week. He graduated Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. She is married with an associate’s degree in Marketing to Rev. B. L. Richardson and they have two Management in 2011 and enrolled children, Brentic and Briana and a guardian at Albany State University. He played nephew, Tarence. basketball for ASU from 2011-2013. At ASU he was named Player of the Week, Best Offensive Player, and was named to the Georgia Coaches Association All Star team. He will graduate from ASU in 2014 with a degree in Health and Physical Education.

Sylvester Patterson is no stranger to the basketball scene. Patterson coached for three years at Lee County High School and two years while in the U.S. Air Force. A biomedical electronics instructor at Albany Technical College, Patterson holds an Associate’s degree from Moultrie Technical College and a Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State College. Coach Patterson and his wife, Raven, have one daughter, Reagan. His hobbies include playing golf and reading.

Kenneth Williams Lady Titans Head Coach

Kenneth Williams is a native of Newton, GA and has been employed at Albany Technical College since 2001 as a mathematics instructor. His other duties include assisting with ATC clubs and organizations, as well as student activities. Coach Williams graduated from Mitchell-Baker High School and from Albany State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Coach Williams is presently working on a Master’s degree in mathematics at Nicholls State University. He is married to Temika Williams and they have two children, KenTrevious and Kentrel.

Coach Brandon Dawkins is a native of Columbia, SC where he attended C.A. Johnson High School and lettered three years in Varsity Basketball, Track, soccer and Cross Country. In his senior year, he led his team to the Class AAA State Championship, and was named an Academic All-American, All-State Honorable Mention, All-area, and All Conference. Coach Dawkins continued his basketball career while serving in the US Navy, and was named to the Southern California All-Navy Basketball Team. Coach Dawkins attended the University of West Alabama as an undergraduate and the University of Southern Mississippi for graduate school. Coach Dawkins has won a National Championship as an AAU Girls Head Coach. Currently, Coach Dawkins is in his 6th year as an assistant at Albany Technical College and is employed as a Special Education Teacher with the Dougherty County School System.

CHEER SQUAD COACHES Valerie Williams - Head Cheer Squad Coach

Valerie A. Williams is a native of Tallulah, Louisiana, where she started dancing at the age of 12 with the McCall Sr. High School Zardarian Dance Team. She started cheering her sophomore year and lettered all 3 years as Head Cheerleader of the Varsity Squad at McCall. Coach Williams has played an active role in cultivating young girl’s lives through such programs as: Delta GEMS, PAL (Police Activity League)Board & Chair/ Alameda Youth League Cheer Director/Coach (Alameda, CA), Mt. Zion Youth Praise Dance Team Director (Seattle, WA), and Renton High School Cheer Coach (Renton, WA). With a love for cheer she has served in multiple positions while building a foundation based on empowerment and enrichment with a strong emphasis on education and physical fitness for a safe, school spirited cheer squads. As a well-trained coach her experience spans over 13 years in programs in California and Washington. As a current member of the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA), she has won 4 NCA 1st Place Trophies at NCA Cheer Camp, 1st Place PALs Competition Jr. Midget Division and 1st Place JAMZ Regional 4 years straight, along with numerous other Team/Coaching awards and certificates. A graduate of Texas Southern University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Coach Williams moved to Albany from Seattle, WA in the fall of 2010 with her husband, Erich, and her stepsons, Nicholas and Donovan. Coach Williams currently is the Director of Continuing Education at Albany Technical College, she is the President of the Lee County Female Minority Mentoring Debutante Program and a proud member of the illustrious sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. With an ongoing effort to continuously evolve Coach Williams is an avid reader (James Patterson, J. California Copper, Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins and Eric Jerome Dickey, etc.), enjoys comedy shows, musicals, outdoor activities (skiing, white water rafting, rock climbing and canoeing, etc.) and spending time with family.

Nicole Lane - Assistant Cheer Squad Coach

Nicole B. Lane is a native of Jackson, Georgia, where she started cheering at the age of 10 with the local recreational department. Nicole wasn’t just a cheerleader, she lettered in both track/ field and softball. But, cheerleading was always her first love. She became a varsity football and basketball cheerleader at Jackson High School her sophomore year. She continued to cheer throughout her junior (co-captain) and senior (captain) years. During her senior year, she was chosen as an NCA All-American finalist during camp held at Furman University. Coach Lane continued her cheerleading career at Albany State College (University) for two years. During her second year, she tried out and became a staff member for the Elite Cheerleading Company based out of Pittsburg, PA. During the summer of 1993, Coach Lane worked as a Cheerleader Instructor providing individualized camps to middle and high school squads throughout the United States. Today, Coach Lane is called upon to assist squads and judge tryouts in the Albany area. Coach Lane earned B.S. degrees in Administrative Systems and Business Management at Albany State University and a M.S.M. degree in Business Management from Troy University. She is married to Darrell and they have one son, Nicholas. Coach Lane is currently an Instructor in the Business Administrative Technology Department at Albany Technical College. She is a proud member of Delta Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, Coach Lane loves to read, participate is community service, watch Criminal Minds, listen to gospel music, and spending time with family.
