From the President

Thank you for supporting The Junior League of Montgomery (JLM) and the amazing women from the River Region who volunteer in our organization. We appreciate all of our corporate sponsors, JLM members, and community partners for your support and being able to adapt with us as JLM moves towards our 100th year of service. Our members started the new league year on June 1st, 2021, enthusiastic and ready to serve. The Community Placements of Brantwood, Dream Court, and Service Dogs of Alabama planned and organized activities for members to do throughout the league year. Hispanic Outreach Leadership and Action (HOLA) assisted with the HOLA Community Festival.

Members serving with the Distinguished Young Women committee, Friendship Mission, Impact Alabama Montgomery continue to provide support and enthusiasm to their partner organization. Montgomery Museum of Fine Art (MMFA) committee members created a sensory room at MMFA, and Human Trafficking completed vital training sessions.

College and Career Night and Holiday Market were able to provide in-person events, with attendees and participants complimenting the dedication of JLM members to skillfully maneuver a safe and enthusiastic experience.

Our 96th league year had a great beginning, and we will have a fantastic transition into our 97th league year. Our members are looking forward to the Women’s Leadership Summit, Rummage Sale, and ending the league year welcoming new members, community partners, and sponsors joining our pathway to JLM’s 100th year! I hope to see you all at these events and welcome your interest in The Junior League of Montgomery.
