The meeting began with a getting to know each other dinner and sharing of daily program. Then we started the presentation of each organization. Firstly, the Romanian group started the presentation of their association. They shared the goals of the organization and also about Romania. The next presentation was from OSASWA. They shared how they aim to ensure the forest protection, all other natural sources protection, environmental friendly energy and agriculture. The next presentation was by YAP, they mentioned about their goals, about the sportive activities that they have run and all other social projects. Sambhawana started their presentation. They shared that their main goal

is to prepare youngsters to actively participate in their democracy. They mentioned that they collaborate with schools and have many different programs. The next presentation was by ESDO. They told that they have been working with Youth citizens since 1995 with many different projects which mostly include environmental goals. The final presentation was by Llere. They shared that

they aim to promote and improve social actions and citizenship across their community. Recently they focus on unemployment issues across their country. Catalin presented in details the project “youth in the world�. The goal and the objectives of the project were clearly presented. We talked about the aim of the project and the steps that we will run. We


December 2013, Vol. I, Issue III talked about the work plan which has started on October 2013 to September 2014. Specific task division was made where by Sambhawana is responsible to coordinate the strategy of project evaluation. Similarly, OSASWA will coordinate the strategy of assuring the project visibility. ESDO will coordinate the strategy of assuring the dissemination of the project results. YAP coordinates the methodology of organizing the training course. ASL coordinates the strategy of organizing the media campaign and ATFPDR, as coordinator organization will complete specific tasks like overall management of

- Page 3 the project. Also, they will look after project finance, meetings, webpage and transnational network as well as multiplication and distribution of project results. Besides, ATFPDR will also follow-up of the project and sustainability. The meeting also discussed and finalized methodology of local workshops such as including non-formal education, discussion etc. We all agreed that we must have a preparation meeting with the participants before conducting the workshop. We mentioned that the participants must be between ages 18-25.We decided that we will work about different issues. But we should decide about a

common issue and also all the countries’ have their own issue. The project evaluation module was also discussed and established. The evaluation will be done periodically by applying questionnaires, discussions groups within the project teams and organizing the midterm evaluation meeting. The modalities of assuring the project visibility and the dissemination of the project`s results were also presented. The project visibility will be realized through the activities such as launching the project, web page of the project, Facebook of the network, flyers, posters, 12 newsletters and news in media.

Later in the day, the budget of the project was shared, the way of budget distribution within the partnership was explained. The eligible activities and the expenses for the activities according to the EACEA rules were explained. It was detailed about how the staff costs are eligible. It was discussed the agreement between EACEA and ATFPDR and between ATFPDR and each partner.

The project’s preparatory visit was useful for knowing the partners, for the direct communication and for establishing some efficient ways of communication and activity. The partner organization divided their responsibilities for promotion activities such as choice of a logo of the project, realization of a facebook page of the project and the realization of 12 monthly newsletters with the specific theme. In addition, it was also confirmed that through the project 300 young people between 18-25 years will participate in the workshop reaching out to 1000 youth from different local activities. There will be 30 members for Europe-Asia network and the network will directly benefit 3000 young people. Major activities of the project that will involve youth are launch of the project, local workshops, international training course, media campaign, facebook page and the evaluation activities. Through these activities, the project will establish Europe-Asia transnational network of organizations active in the youth domain that will act as exchange of good practices in youth activities domain.
