Mark Whitwell (USA/ NZ) guides students in developing an authentic, individuated yoga practice, based on the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar.
Dr. Robert Svoboda was the first westerner to be certified as an Ayurvedic Doctor. He was also tutored in Yoga, Jyotisha, Tantra and allied subjects by the Aghori Vimalananda. He’s published over 20 books, and lectures globally.
Kevin James Carroll, weaves ancient Mantra’s from various traditions with his own chants and HeartSongs. Kevin’s music facilitates a space for us to dissolve the ego and reconnect to the heart.
The Markandeya Collective joins us in Byron from Sweden, following a successful tour with OKA. Introducing their nu-roots sound with integrity and depth, Markandeya emerges out of a confluence of word and sound.
Dustin Thomas, seen touring with Nahko & Medicine for the People, has big hair, big smiles, and a whole lot of love to share with his superb original music!
Tahir Hussian Faridi Qawwali Ensemble creates spine-tingling Sufi qawwali music, an ancient form of devotion music that thrives to this day in Pakistan & India.
Based in Los Angeles, Jo Cobbett trained in 5 Rhythms with Gabrielle Roth, and in the last 20+ years has developed a brilliant dance experience for all that’s deep, exciting, and transformative.
Sydney-based Sri Prahlada, an initiate since age 15 in the Chaitanya Vaisnava tradition, has been recording and performing both classical and rock/reggae-based kirtan worldwide since age 12.
Gwyn Williams is a master teacher, healer, practitioner and founder of ZenThai Shiatsu who shares his healing practice between Australia, Bali and Thailand.
Mystic Minstrel Chad Wilkins shares his upbeat, positive original music from a life of spiritual journeying from his origins in Lake Tahoe to his migration to Australia.
Dena Kingsberg has been studying and practicing traditional Ashtanga yoga for over 28 years. She is one of Sri K.Pattabhi Jois’s most advanced female students and runs regular teacher trainings in Byron Bay.
Clive Sheridan has been practicing Hatha Yoga since the late 60’s & started teaching by the late 70’s. His style fluidly melds classical asana and pranayama for a genuine experience of Yoga.
Rose Baudin has studied and practiced yoga for 43 years and has taught for 25 years. She met her mentor, Swami Gauribala, in Sri Lanka in 1971, and today teaches regularly in Tahiti, Australia and teacher trainings around the world for Yoga Arts.
Simon Park began his Yoga journey in 1995 with Shiva Rea in the World Arts and Cultures Department at UCLA. Distillation to the Essence Freedom through self-exploration. Simon has recently moved to Sydney!
