Knowledge Based Urban Development (KBUD) has rapidly developed as an independent field of studies globally. Yet the Middle East was unfortunate to foster research, knowledge transfer and cases examination. There is ample of opportunity through the publishing of this book, to achieve a critical platform of interest, research and practice on KBUD within the Middle East context. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of KBUD, The book will invite researchers and contributors from diverse fields, such as architecture, urban studies, planning, geography, social studies, economics and knowledge and creative economy, etc.
