New exhibition space and design at the “Museo del Cenacolo”
The extension of the current museum has been planned in the courtyard of Santa Croce Abbey in Florence following the historical structure as recovered in ancient documents. The new space for the exhibition recreates the typical spatial hierarchy of Florentine convents and it serves as a connection between the Museo del Cenacolo and the main abbey, bringing a continuity to the visitor experience and giving a different perception of the space, inspired by the maestro Carlo Scarpa.

A new museum at Villa Adriana in Tivoli
The intervention for the new museum at “Villa Adriana” in Tivoli aims to improve the visitor’s engagement through a dedicated exhibition at the entrance and a new pathways strategy. The new museum perfectly fits the existing space on the side of the Pecile and it combines harmoniously the primary function as a new entrance to the visitor path and the secondary function as an extraordinary display of the villa’s collections. It promotes the new visitor centre to a hub without diminishing its status but, on the contrary, improving it. The Phygital Funfair: new concept store for Sephora
Sephora, a French chain of cosmetics with more than 300 brands and thousands of stores worldwide, challenged the students at Central Saint Martin to come up with a new store design concept to be applied to the flagship store in Paris and replicated worldwide. Our team’s project won this design contest with a simple and clever idea to use the metaphor of the “phygital funfair” to create a sense of community among the customers of the store (physical) through multimedia enhanced experience (digital). The final selection step has seen us presenting the project to Sephora’s top management in Paris where this project is currently in the construction phase.

Il Gattopardo: immersive exhibition about digital proximity
Il Gattopardo has been developed as part of the major project at Central Saint Martin. The project aims to challenge the current rise of online dating and dating apps and let people reflect on the importance of maintaining an equilibrium between virtual and non-virtual kinds of relations in our future. Il Gattopardo is a fun immersive game about dating, which unfolds in a one night event at the Italian Cultural Institute, one of our greatest sponsors and collaborator, in London. The event incorporates a twentyminute immersive experience during which, through videos, audio and role playing, participants explore changes in dating habits from London’s present to Italy’s past. STORYBOARD IL GATTOPARDO
6. The voices are over. She is sorry; she would have loved to keep on hearing the stories. Instead, a video starts to play and it’s projected on different layers of tulle. She quickly discerns other faces. She’s intrigued as they don’t seem to belong to the same group.
3. In the end she’s told to follow some dots on the floor and told to wait for a Maestro. She’s anxious to start but also disoriented: what’s a Maestro? Why does someone need to come for her?
1. Sara arrives at the Italian Cultural Institute building and notice the poster of the event next the main entrance where visitors are invited to ring the bell to enter the building. She feels curious about the event.
7. Sara passes through the door, she’s very nervous: what’s going to happen? Out of the blue, the woman tells the groups to look for the person they were chatting with. Sara is hesitant but excited.
5. Suddenly the alarm goes off and Sara is told to move. She sees 3 cardboards with human size and they are talking about the past. She feels nostalgic.
FIND THE MATCH
8. Surprisingly the guy she was chatting with he’s handsome and charming. In the end, the door is opened and a woman tells them to go upstairs to dance. She is tense; she hasn’t danced in a while
HESITANT SURPRISED EXCITED 2. Sara enters the door and there is a queue in front of her. She’s intrigued from the queue but also bored that she has to wait. Finally she’s welcomed by a woman asking for her data.
4. Sara enters the game. She’s told to sit down and chat with an IPad. She’s comfortable in the chair but the room is so dark.

Total Refurbishment and Interior Design of a new flat
The aim of the project was to transform two garages into a house flat for a young couple starting their life together. The budget was restricted and the main client request was to hide any character of the previous use of the space. In the concept design phase various solutions proposed through 2D drawings and 3D renders, plan and sketches. Planning permissions submission and construction phase as Project Architect and on site liting with building contractor, collaborators and suppliers.

The project is developed in an existing Villa that was designed and built around 1985. The client’s needs were to divide the new flat from the rest of the house thus obtaining new spaces to re-design.
