Public space in Britain and across the world is increasingly becoming recognised as an important sector for design; important breathing space between shops, transport links and places of work. It is vital that these places retain opportunities for release and relaxation, perhaps even a place of
entertainment and marvel.
With this in mind, we would like you to design an interactive feature for public spaces that incorporates (sustainable use of) water as an integral part of the design. The design must attract the attention of everyone in its presence,whilst enhancing and augmenting the aesthetics of its surroundings.Do not feel a need to limit your designs to conventional (floor mounted) water
features, consider the use of ‘wall’ and ‘ceiling’ space and any other imaginative real world canvases.
