Sunday 16 November 2014 Seddon Fields, Western Springs

Northern Football v Mainland Pride Kick off 1pm

NZ Football Development v WaiBOP Football Kick off 4pm

Welcome Today we want to welcome Mainland Football to Seddon Fields in Western Springs for our round six matchup with Northern Football. We are excited about this match and will look to take some much needed points from this game after playing some excellent football in recent weeks, unfortunate to not quite get the results we needed to progress because we could not find the back of net. At times we have controlled the tempo of the game, maintaining possession and playing good football. Today we aim to continue to deliver on these recent developments in our game and end our last couple of games on a high note. With some of the senior players out of action, this game is another opportunity for some of our younger players to step up and showcase their ability and talent. Players to watch will be Malia Steinmetz and Saskia Vosper along with two of our senior leaders Katie Jackson and Liz Milne who was our player of the week last week. We will be without our goalkeeper Erin Nayler for the final two rounds as she heads to France and Norway with the Football Ferns on their European Tour in preparation for next year’s FIFA World Cup in Canada. We want to wish Erin and the Football Ferns all the best for those upcoming matches. Jenny Bindon Head Coach Northern Football
