Grating Moulded Grating is a strong, one piece, open mesh panel that is produced by a moulding process with the weaving of fibreglass rovings and a thermosetting resin. Isophthalic Polyester and Phenolic types offer proven resistance to the effects of chemical corrosion and UV light degradation; containing fire retardant properties. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use. The concave surface of the panel mesh bearer bars enables for a degree of slip resistance when released from the mould. The inclusion of a bonded grit coating of refined aluminium oxide enhances the anti-slip properties and durability of the product. This is what gives grit top grating its compliance according to the New Zealand requirements. Compared to steel grating, the transportation, handling, and installation of FRP grating is easier due to its rather lightweight form.

Mini Mesh Moulded Mini Mesh Grating is a strong, one piece, open mesh panel that is produced by a moulding process, with the weaving of fibreglass rovings and a thermosetting resin.
Mini Mesh has approximately one quarter of the opening of regular square mesh grating. These reduced openings prevent objects as small as 13mm from passing through the mesh. The closer spacing of the bearing bars also offers smooth movement for small wheeled vehicles such as trolleys or pallet jacks, while providing a greater loading ability than regular mesh types. The addition of a bonded grit coating of aluminium oxide provides enhanced anti-slip properties and durability. Our mini mesh has an open spacing of approximately 12.5mm x 12.5mm, is available in a range of thicknesses and conforms to AS1657:2013 for elevated platforms with unrestricted access beneath.

Grating Fixing Clips Specialty clips manufactured from type 316 stainless steel, available for your fibreglass gratings. Our clips are used to secure grating or stair treads to the supporting structure or to fasten adjacent grating panels.
38 M CLIP M8 x 45 Bolt M8 Flat Washer M8 Nut
J CLIP (To suit M8 Bolt Set)
25 M CLIP M8 x 30 Bolt M8 Flat Washer M8 Nut
U CLIP (To suit M8 Bolt Set)
Clip types: M Clips are designed to clamp down two FRP grating load bars to the supporting structure. This method provides excellent holding capability and is also recommended for stair tread fixing. Clips are available in 316 stainless steel. Recommendation for clip quantity: minimum of four (4) M Clips per piece of grating. J Clips are used in conjunction with our M Clips. designed to secure grating to the support frames without the need for drilling holes. U Clips are used in conjunction with our M Clips, connecting unsupported grating ending’s to each other to prevent excessive deflection.
Design consideration: Wherever considerable vibration or lateral loads is applied, clip type and frequency may change. Please consult with an engineer on this.

FRP Handrail & Fittings
Handrail & Fittings
Handrails are manufactured from Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) by a process of pultrusion. Pultrusion is a continuous moulding process whereby reinforcing fibres are saturated with a resin and then pulled through a heated die. Our handrail systems suit interior and exterior environments where industrial chemicals or salt air can rapidly corrode carbon steel handrail systems. Our systems are designed to adhere to all relevant standards and provide a versatile, cost-effective alternative to steel handrails. Our (FRP) handrail system is used for stairways, walkways, platforms, and for guarding around machinery. Our handrails and fittings are available in a ‘round’ profile and include all necessary fasteners for assembly, and follow the same basic design principles as seen in steel: • Upright support sections (stanchions) are supplied in 5800mm lengths • Top rails are supplied in 5800mm lengths • Mid-knee rails are supplied in 5800mm lengths • Kickboards are supplied in 5800mm lengths • Stanchion fixing brackets are available in side or top mount • A range of fittings and connectors • 316 stainless steel fasteners 10
• Tested to NZS/AS 1657:1992 and AS 1657:2013 • Maximum stanchion centre-tocentre spacing of 1600mm • Top rail height range of 900-1100mm (above the walking surface) • FRP mounts for guard rails or low level barriers • Stainless Steel Mounts for handrails (2:1 safety factor) • Example construction drawings provided with each order
Manufactured from: • Our FRP handrail system is manufactured from glass fibre and polyester resin by a process of pultrusion, with an applied surface veil • Fittings are made by a process of moulding, and utilise the same thermosetting resin type • Fasteners are available in 316 stainless steel

Anti-Slip Nosing At approximately 4mm thick, Anti-Slip (FRP) Nosing is coated in a fusion of premium quality carborundum sand and resin components.
KEY BENEFITS:
Anti-Slip Nosing is the preferred choice over tapes and paints, as they are specially designed to decrease the risk of slipping on stair tread edges.
• Suitable for interior and exterior environments
Anti-slip nosing can be fastened using a combination of adhesive/sealant or mechanical fasteners to effectively fix, bond or seal the edges, averting any ingress of moisture. The anti-slip nosing is cut down from 5800mm lengths, and can be cut on-site using either a diamond or tungsten tipped tool. Anti-slip nosing is made from isophthalic polyester, with the grit from carborundum sand.
• Highly effective anti-slip safety surface • Long-lasting and durable
• Substantially outlasts anti-slip tapes, floor paints and coatings • No maintenance required • Lightweight • Straightforward and efficient installation
Colours: • Yellow • Black
Dimensions: • 50mm x 30mm x 4mm • 5800mm lengths • Cutting service available
Can be fixed to: • Chequer plate, concrete, wood, ceramics, and open mesh grating

Flat Sheet For platforms, ramps, walkways and vehicular access. At approximately 3mm thick, our tough (FRP) Flat Sheet is coated in a combination of premium quality quartz sand and resin components, making it a highly effective anti-slip product. Often the preferred choice over tapes and paints, offering an almost permanent solution to slip hazards. Flat sheets can be laid and fixed using a combination of adhesives/sealant and fasteners to effectively fix, bond and seal the edges, preventing any ingress of moisture. Sheets may be cut and finished to specific sizes prior to delivery for ease of use in installation, and can either be cut onsite using a diamond or tungsten tipped tool. Can be fixed to many substrate types, standard thickness sheets can be used even where there is damage or deterioration to an existing surface.
