Logic behind the project. Parametric wall consists of tangent curves and circles which forms a curvilinear shape of the fasade (sweep surface). The surface is then divided parametrically using “Subsurface Domain” component. Scale of circles - creating openings is calculated by distance from center to attractor points on the fasade.

The Rzeszów - Jasionka Airport, as the furthest to the southeast communication airport in Poland, has an opportunity to develop further in the near future to open a wider window on the world for our region.

Within a scenery of Natural Parc of Costa Brava a visionary project is intended to be shared in the future with the citizens of Catalonia. The exhibtion of the Palau Robert shows the evolution through years of research and collaborative work of architects from Cloud 9. The Team “flagship” project, a new “elbulli” model, a gigantic both in sense of a size and impression can be inspected personally within space of the exhibition. The exposition will be presented to the public on the 2nd of June to 27 of July, on the second floor of the Palau Robert.

My internship experience, Cloud9 Text is a storytelling about an encounter with futuristic architecture by Enric Ruiz-Geli. Still an informal story, not in scientific nor academic sense, rather subjective reminiscence of my journey. Barcelona, an architectural pearl of Spain, from where I gain a new perspective on contemporary art and architecture and finally polish modernism and history. As a participant of a Project within a framework of Leonardo da Vinci Program, from the Technical University in Lublin, I took a traineship at Cloud 9 for duration of 26 weeks. Diploma project NOMINATION TO THE DIPLOMA OF THE YEAR 2012 DESIGN OF A ACADEMIC LIBRARY AT THE CAMPUS OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF LUBLIN NOMINATION TO THE DIPLOMA OF THE YEAR 2012, POLISH ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS SARP AN ENERGY-EFFICIENT, SUSTAINABLE DESIGN OF A LIBRARY IS SITUATED AT THE CAMPUS OF LUBLIN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IN POLAND. THE POST-COMMUNIST URBAN SPRAWL IS CHARACTERIZED BY CUBIC BLOCKS AND OLDFASHIONED ARCHITECTURE.

THE INTENT WAS TO CREATE AN ENERGY-EFFICIENT, SUSTAINABLE PROJECT BASED ON ECOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS AND INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN. THE BUILDING DOES NOT INTENT TO SEPARATE FROM THE SURROUNDINGS, IN CONTRARY IT REFLECTS THE ENVIRONMENT AND REMAINS OPEN TO PUBLIC IN THE CENTRAL POINT OF THE CAMPUS ESTABLISHMENT. A NEW CONCEPT SHOULD MARK A MODERN WAY, BECOMING AN ICONIC SYMBOL OF UNIVERSITY THROUGH TRANSFORMATION OF HISTORICAL CONTEXT. A MULTILAYER ELEVATION ACTS AS HUMAN SKIN TO PREVENT FROM HARMFUL, SOLAR RADIATION AND TO CONVERT ITS EXCESS INTO HEAT. AIR EXCHANGE SYSTEM LOCALIZED BENEATH FROST PENETRATION LEVEL SUPPORTS MECHANICAL VENTILATION. THE LIGHT IS DIRECTED TO THE INTERIOR THROUGH A GIANT LIGHT-SHIFT WHICH ILLUMINATES FROM THE INSIDE, PROVIDING ADDITIONAL ENERGY GAINS. ALTHOUGH THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE BUILDING IS BIOCLIMATIC CONTROL THE DESIGN FINDS ITS EXPRESSION IN HIGH-TECH ARCHITECTURE AND EXPOSING TECHNICAL INSTALLATION. THE DESIGN REMAIN IN BALANCE AND EQUILIBRIUM WITH CONSTRUCTION, TECHNOLOGY AND ART.
