ABOUT ME: I am a Portuguese architect, graduated in 2000 in Architecture from the University LusĂada, in Lisbon. I began to work prior to my graduation, to formalize my passion for Architecture
In 2003, I accepted the challenge to work with a international studio, 16ARQ Architects in Lisbon, Portugal and Luanda, Angola. During that time, I have gained abroad experience owing to the range of responsibilities I have performed in the office. This ranged from detailed construction drawings to competition renderings, model making, construction reviews and administration. My time here has allowed me to see our profession from an urban perspective, with an historical sensibility, as well as a careful consideration for client needs. In 2010, I worked with architect JosĂŠ Toscano. Whose work was more focused in family residences, retail stores for commercial and food/beverages establishments like restaurants and bars. In April of 2013, I accepted to work overseas. I have started working with Ahmed Ziyat, in Rabat, Morocco. This work included large scale buildings with a high level of complexity which greatly expanded my experience In the second half of 2014, the opportunity of doing something even more challenging come to me. A Winter Palace for the Emir of Qatar in Ifrane, Morocco. I became a key member of the Primary Consultant Team for the American company Base4. The experience and the project were truly amazing as well my involvement. About myself, I can tell you that I am an assertive, responsible and a very well organized person. I have the ability to work independently and manage a team. I am highly motivated and have the desire to keep learning and to share my knowledge wherever I am.
