RECREATIONAL CENTER FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. LEKUNMBERRI (SPAIN). The project involves the creation of a new multifunctional facility for the young people of Lekunberri, a small town located in Navarra (Spain). This multifunctional complex will accommodate various activities and spaces such as concerts (music hall), kids play ground, computer/IT facilities, library, and a polyvalent/flexible room for lectures and workshops. The building is located next to the town’s football pitch and other sport facilities in a dedicated area for the collective facilities of the village. The site is characterized by its great value as a nature environment. The project proposes a small volume made of two blocks conceived from the maximum respect to the context, including both nature and built heritage, aiming to give form to a new settlement able to coexist with the pre-existing infrastructures and environment.
