Dear, I am writing to apply for the position in your NY office. I am confident that my passion for the humanisation of public space, my interest in life, culture and estetics of our common ground, and my past experience with these topics, would make a perfect addition to your team. If we get a chance to work together, You will find that I am extremely dedicated and helpful, skilled with technology and kind with people. I am also the one who always has an idea on how to solve a problem, along with the knowledge on how to implement the solution in practice. Therefore, and for a million more reasons that wouldn’t fit in any CV or document, I am confident that I am a good candidate for this position. Sincerely,

INTRODUCTION
CELLS
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Henry Ford entered mass production of automobiles with the vision that every man should be able to get to his destination quickly and easily. Today, however, when he reaches his destination, that man is usually unable to park his car. Ford’s vision of freedom of movement also became vulnerable in terms of the walking safety. And there are other problems, such as economic, environmental problems and a possible shortage of fuel.
Cities would be divided into cells. The radius of a cell is determined by the average length of a usual walk distance, but taking into account the slope, and other factors. Within the cell, the people would move on foot or by using unmotorised vehicles.
The problem could be discerned in the early twentieth century, when large amounts of cars began to appear on the streets of Europe, the streets designed for pedestrians and horsedrawn carts. However, the interests of manufacturers have won over the desire of individuals, so eventually streets adjusted to this new fashion, mainly subordinating all other forms to automobile traffic.
In each cell, there would be one central communication conected with other city cells. This public transport communication would be electric or other non-motor driven, and could be underground, on the surface, or above it, which would largely determine the price of investment. Respectively, the financial condition would dictate the choice of communication. The combination of the type of communication between cells of the same city is also possible. typology of PUBLIC TRANSPORT in a carfree city:
Only in recent years, with the latest economic crisis, and the actualization of the environmental consequences of shortterm planning, there is a number of movements around the world with the aim of combating car traffic in urban areas, all in favor of cycling or public transport.
UNDER GROUND + Freedom of movement for pedestrians on surface + The best solution in the case of precipitations + No blocked lines of sight - High cost - Not applicable in some regions
STREETS
Excerpts from my student paper A PEDESTRIAN CITY 2013.
SURFACE + Low price + Visual communication with the means of transport + Easy communication for persons with disabilities - Cutting of pedestrian routes - Aggravated traffc during snow and other precipitation
ABOVE THE GROUND + Freedom of movement for pedestrians on surface + Visual communication with the means of transport - Not applicable in some regions
Cross section of a typical city street today (Most of the space on today’s streets is reserved for cars. Roadways and parking lots occupy about 70% of each street)
Cross section of a typical street in the city without a car (Eliminating cars from the street, will get the space for free movement of pedestrians, for recreation, and for the conduct of cultural events, games, parties, etc.)
The City is a scenography of our lives. That is a place we start our journey from, and to which we return to... Our first momories and most of our experiences are conected to the city we are born to. And so the way we observe and act in the world around us, is greatly influenced by it. What makes a city, before all physical characteristics, are people we meet on it’s streets. If you strip a city of its people, you will get a so called ghost-town. If you make a city where most of the public spaces is reserved for moving and parked cars, you will get a city of today. Those are cities that are still made of people, but people that are disconnected by streets (that should have connected them), people that are slowed down by traffic (that should have made them faster), people agonized by polluted air and noise, they have stopped noticing. Today we would all rather live outside of the city, if we could give up its benefits: job opportunities, meeting other people, cultural offer, etc.

a viewing place is made as a combination of a number of content: a stand for watching sport events, a venue for meeting, playing games, or just lying on the sun, and at the same time, underneeth a shell-like shape, it makes a scene that could host a concert, a theatre, variuous music entusiasts, public speekers, or could also serve as a meeting place on a rainy day.
Trimo Urban Crash Competition Shortlisted project A Viewing Place Ljubljana, 2011.
narrow part of tribune, for watching sports only a stage underneeth
wider part, for relax and play
from the starting point - to make a tribune for watching sport events, and under it, a stage, thus making a covered place for residents to meet all year long, rain or shine - i came to idea, that we could play with the wideness of a stand plane, making it wider on the south part of the structure, where residents could lay and relax, meet and have fun with their friends, play games (chess, risk, etc.), like they are on a beach, for example, while still having a chance to watch basketball metches. with that in mind, i came with a sophisticated method for drawing the desired object, at the same time making sure to get a reasonable hight for the stage undeneeth. this could be a place for people to meet, and engage in many kinds of activities, socialising them, in that way, not only with other residents of fu ine, but also of ljubljana, by making concerts, open sky theatre, etc.
