Delivering excellence is at the core of what we do. Healthcare is undergoing one of the greatest transformations with the transition to patient centred care delivery. Digital transformation is at the core of enabling that transformation. MyHealth1st is leading that change by helping practices make the transition to the digital space, both smoothly and effectively.

How has COVID impacted you, your team, and your business? How have you adapted?

MyHealth1st understands what allied practices need and integrates with around 50 practice management systems (PMS). PMS support clinical operations. MyHealth1st facilitates digital patient engagement. These two combined complement each other, providing benefits to both practices and the patients they serve.

That pain turned out to be an indicator that he had a rare and deadly form of leukaemia. If not promptly diagnosed, it would have most likely killed him on his next ride. He was immediately hospitalised, placed in isolation, and underwent lifesaving chemotherapy.

Is there anything exciting that your team is working on that you can tell us about?

Our long-term vision is to help consumers (patients) really understand the variety and value of healthcare service options that are out there, why you may use each of them, and make access to these services easier and available 24/7. Unfortunately, most people don’t know what’s out there and there isn’t a host of great and reliable information available to help them. In fact, there is probably too much misinformation readily available online. Over time, I also hope we can introduce AI technology to play a key role in helping people proactively manage their health.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, CEO & CO-FOUNDER OF MYHEALTH1ST

Who would have thought that his own platform, designed to enable patients to make appointments immediately at the time of concern, would have led to saving his own life? Connect with the MyHealth1st team today: 1300info@myhealth1st.com.au266517

Why is MyHealth1st so successful in the allied health space?

Klaus started MyHealth1st in 2011, the same year he started cycling to raise money for cancer research. He and a group of cycling buddies formed a team called the Vision Crusaders.

In 2013, with 24 other Vision Crusaders, Klaus embarked on “The Grand Slam” tour comprising six rides across Australia to raise money for cancer.

We have just acquired another Australian company, Visionflex. Visionflex has developed what I think is the world’s finest telehealth platform. Over time, we will be working to bring the Visionflex platform to as many of our customers as possible to help enable quality virtual care services for consumers. As healthcare providers recognise this is another vital transition occurring in the healthcare market.

Klaus Bartosch

100% in ways both amazingly positive, and sadly negative as well. We certainly haven’t been immune to the impact on staff and their wellbeing, including through the lockdowns and restrictions. From 16th March 2020, we transitioned our entire operation to a work from home business model, embracing Zoom and the internet to the max. The outcome is that no one wants to return to an office, productivity has increased by 30%, our staff are happier, more fulfilled, and energised. It has just been fantastic for our business.

After the first ride in Brisbane, worry set in that he would not be able to participate in future rides due to what he thought was arthritis pain in his right knee. After prompting from his wife, at 9:30pm that night Klaus booked an appointment for the following day using the MyHealth1st platform.

Klaus Bartosch is the driving force behind MyHealth1st.com.au, the #1 Allied Health patient engagement and online healthcare booking platform. Experienced in both ASX listed and private companies, Klaus brings extensive expertise to the development and operation of large consumer focused online platforms, websites, and aggregators.
