The Miami International Boat Show is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The 2023 Show is going to be huge, taking place February 15-19 with more than a thousand exhibitors and hundreds of boats and yachts on display. It will also feature interactive boating experiences, live concerts, and much more. Whether you own a superyacht or are just dreaming of a boat, you won’t want to miss it. The Miami International Boat Show is where the best manufacturers in the world show off their newest and most impressive models, along with an inspiring number of brokerage yachts for sale.
The boat show will be held February 15-19 this year. It will take place in several locations in Miami with each location dedicated to a specific segment of the boating and yachting community.
One Herald Plaza is dedicated to powerboats and motor yachts 30' to 125', yacht tenders, engines, marine accessories and retail pavilions. This is where the Allied Marine display will be located featuring a diverse selection of brokerage yachts to view. The Ferretti Group, our parent company, will also have a large display in this area dedicated to new yachts from Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, and Custom Line yachts.
Superyacht Miami at IGY Yacht Haven Grande at Island Gardens is where you’ll find the largest superyachts. Please note access is only available with Windward VIP or Superyacht Miami tickets.
For boats up to 49 feet along with engine manufacturers, marine accessories and electronics head to the displays at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Over at the Venetian Marina you can see over 150 vessels and find additional new and brokerage boats and engine manufacturers.
Museum Park Marina is where you can check out the latest sailboats, catamarans, and sailing accessories.
Across the street from the convention center at Pride Park will be the Boat Show Experience. This will feature wakeboard simulators, a 40,000-gallon test pool, and more. You will also find places to grab a quick drink or a bite to eat.
Consider the Miami Boat Show VIP Experience through Windward, too. When you opt for this experience, you will receive not only tickets to the Miami Boat Show in 2023, but you will also receive a ticket to the Prime Time Preview, Superyacht Miami, and entry to the Windward VIP clubs at One Herald Plaza and the Miami Beach Convention Center.
While the boat show is the big draw, there are plenty of other things you can enjoy during your time in Miami. Maybe you are traveling with some family members who aren’t as into boats as you are. Don’t worry, Miami and the surrounding areas have something for everyone.
Just a few of the places you might want to visit include the Wynwood Art Walls, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, the Frost Museum of Science and Jungle Island. Allied Marine was started in 1945 along the banks of the Miami River in Florida. At the time, World War II veterans were returning and looking for recreation on the water. They wanted to purchase boats and needed a place to service them. Allied Marine was formed to fulfill their needs. The connection to WW2 veterans is how the term "Allied" made it into our company name.
Allied Marine Group was purchased by Winthrop P. Rockefeller, an avid yachtsman and fisherman and the greatgrandson of industrialist John D. Rockefeller.
Allied Marine Group establishes locations in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Stuart, Florida.
Allied Marine Group further expands to eight sales locations and five service centers on the east and west coasts of Florida.
Allied Marine opens an office at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale to offer brokerage and charter services for superyachts.
Ferretti SpA, which owns the Italian superyacht brands CRN and Custom Line, finalized the acquisition of Allied Marine and changed the name to Allied Marine Group. The newly named Allied Marine Group specializes in new yacht sales, yacht brokerage, and postsales service.
In keeping with the times, as the demand for larger vessels grew, the new Allied Marine Superyacht Division was created, located in our Bahia Mar office in Ft. Lauderdale.

New Ferretti Group Service Yard opens in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Ferretti Group Service Yard offers a full range of yacht repair and refit services for vessels up to 300 feet, 16 hurricanesafe slips, a 27,500 square foot workshop with an extensive parts inventory, and travelifts available up to 485 tons.
The Ferretti Group, the parent company of Allied Marine, launched a $302 million Hong Kong Initial Public Offering (IPO) to finance future investments.
The newly renovated Fort Lauderdale Ferretti Group Flagship Showroom opens to the public. The largest covered in-water showroom in the Americas, encompassing 20,000 square feet. The showroom offers a reception area, Riva Lounge, a dozen covered slips for yachts and superyachts, amid intimate seating and meeting areas.

It’s an Aquariva, it’s an Aquarama, it’s history transformed into future and beauty: Riva Anniversario is an incredible combination of details and inspiration drawn from both of these boats. Only the yard with 180 years of history – the first of Riva’s anniversaries in 2022 – could come up with the idea of this jewel of an open powerboat, made in a strictly limited edition, which pays tribute with class and a passion for the brand’s history to the two iconic boats that this year celebrate their 60th – Aquarama – and 20th – Aquariva – anniversaries.
A lucky few were able to admire her on the weekend of June 11, exhibited on a floating platform moored in front of another Riva stronghold, the Gritti Palace Hotel, which as one of its many unrivaled attractions has its own Aquariva Super, the “Doge”, for guests to use as a taxi. At the Cannes Yachting Festival, on the other hand, the open powerboat that is already a legend was displayed on a raised platform at the entrance, to the curiosity and delight of all the many visitors.
Riva Anniversario is a unique 33-foot open powerboat with magnetic appeal, paying tribute to the history and legend of the yard that has been making exciting contributions to yachting, design and fine living for 180 years now. And like all true objects of desire, only 18 units will be produced and they have already become collectors items, dreamt of and longed for by everyone who loves Riva and boating as an art form.
The sleekly elegant lines of the Anniversario are designed as always, by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
The exterior styling is inspired by the Aquariva’s classic silhouette, featuring clean lines, balanced volumes, and a series of stylistic details that tap into the Aquarama’s refined style. Two legends in a new boat that is already an icon: it could only happen with Riva. But don’t be misled by this tribute to past masterpieces because her design expresses Anniversario’s distinctive and innovative personality, featuring an exclusive and magnificently modern configuration seen not least in the choice of more saturated and fuller colors for the surfaces, highlighting their character. An innovative Metallic Brown, created exclusively for Anniversario, highlights the dazzling beauty of the boat as a whole and is juxtaposed with gloss varnished mahogany. The color scheme includes masterful contrasts between steel, used for various details and trim, and classic Riva aquamarine alternating with optical white on all the leather upholstery, amplifying its charm.
Riva Anniversario exerts its power of seduction even before you go aboard, with a stern platform concealed and sheltered by the streamlined design of the hull sides. The boat’s profile is also enhanced by the aquamarine waterline, which leads into the white antifouling and pays tribute to the Aquarama, as does the name of the model written in the same lettering style as the famous wooden boats of the 1960s. Also echoing the style of the Aquarama, the gorgeously designed protective steel bow cap is joined by the lateral search lights with their classic steel bracket. Adding another touch of style and modernity to the silhouette are side handrails graced with a steel base clad in a refined mahogany fascia.
The entire aft section on board is occupied by the engine compartment hidden below the classic sun pad, which is upholstered with innovative outdoor leather in alternating aquamarine and white colors.
The same leather is used to upholster both the cockpit and the below-deck area. This special type of leather is perfectly waterproof, withstands marine conditions and can be used at sea, ensuring an unrivaled sensation of softness and wellbeing. Designed for functionality and comfort, the cockpit has a new design featuring a large U-shaped sofa and a central table seating up to eight people. But that’s not all: the table has an up-down mechanism so that the space can easily be transformed into one big sunbathing area. Another innovative feature is the design of the mahogany cabinetry, which is integrated into the lower part of the sofa and includes storage and lifestyle accessories. The entire area can be sheltered by the distinctive bimini top.
The bow area is run through with unmistakable details in perfect Riva style. Turning to the helm station, the dashboard includes two 12inch digital displays and integrated navigation instruments. Aquarama-inspired vintage features abound, like the Vienna straw storage pocket with steel trim behind the driver’s seat.
The foredeck is clad entirely in polished mahogany planking. Continuing the tradition of hand craftsmanship, all the wooden parts of Anniversario are protected by the Sarnico-based yard’s famous twenty-four coats of varnish. Two deck portholes inspired by the Aquarama, one on either side, bring natural light down below deck. The centrally positioned steel casing adds a sumptuously elegant accent to the deck, as well as housing the navigation lights.
Below deck, the ambiance features leather upholstery with an aquamarine and white color scheme that matches the ceiling. Riva Anniversario is fitted with an electronically controlled two-speed gearbox that unleashes all the power of the two YANMAR 8 LV engines, each rated 370 hp. This engine configuration delivers a top speed of 40.5 knots and provides a range of 155 miles at a cruising speed of 36 knots.
The launch of Riva Anniversario also represents an opportunity for Ferretti Group to leave a mark by contributing to a noble cause. Of the 18 unique units of Riva Anniversario being made, one will be immediately donated to the charity initiative “7 Fund for UNICEF”, created by UNICEF and David Beckham to support children around the world with better healthcare, education and protection. One of the most recent projects undertaken by 7 Fund is to raise funds for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged kids and teens in El Salvador. To support this excellent initiative, Ferretti Group has decided to donate a limited-edition Riva Anniversario to the cause, which will be auctioned off and the entire proceeds donated to help protect children in El Salvador.

Croatia is among the best boating locations in the world. The richness of historic ruins along the coastline and on the islands appeal to explorers, plus the closeness of the islands and calmer winds make it easier and safer to travel. You effectively have a thousand miles of coastline and over a thousand islands to explore!
Dubrovnik, Croatia
The busy season is summer, from June to September, when temperatures are high and the water is warm. During these months, the marinas, cities, and some of the islands often are packed with travelers. If you’re looking to travel during this time, it's best to book well in advance. The sea conditions in Croatia can vary depending on the time of year. In the summer, the seas are typically perfect for boating - calm and clear. Looking to beat the crowds? The off-peak months of April, May, and October are a great choice. The weather is still great (just not quite as hot), yet there are fewer crowds.
Croatia has a long coastline and several islands, making it a great destination for boating. Some of the best places to explore are the Dalmatian Coast and Istria on the northern shore.
The Dalmatian Coast includes islands like Hvar, Korcula, Vis, and Brac, which are all conveniently accessible and only a half-day apart by yacht. This area is fantastic for people of all ages since there are so many things to do and easy for boaters to explore because of its well-traveled, well-established routes. Keep in mind that Dubrovnik and Split have daily dockings from several cruise ships in July and August, so these months can be quite crowded.
The southern coast is home to several national parks, including the Kornati Islands National Park and the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which offer opportunities for hiking, biking, and nature exploration. In addition to its natural beauty, the Dalmatian Coast is also rich in cultural and historical sites. The region was once part of the ancient Roman Empire, and there are many ancient ruins and landmarks to explore, including the ancient city of Split, which is home to the well-preserved Diocletian's Palace. With its historic towns, isolated beaches, and secret coves, southern Dalmatia is described as a maritime paradise.
Croatia's northern shore is home to Istria, the biggest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. It still heavily draws on Italian food, language, and culture after being a part of Italy from 1919 to 1947. Travelers frequently stop at coastal towns like Pula, Rovinj, and Porec. The region has a long and varied history, with influences from the ancient Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, and the Venetian Republic. There are many ancient ruins and landmarks to explore, including the ancient city of Pula, which is home to the well-preserved Pula Arena.
Istria makes up for the lack of nightlife and accommodation options with its isolated beauty and native culture. Enjoy fantastic day trips, including wine tasting and bicycle tours, exploring tiny villages, have farm-fresh meals, and discovering the interior region.
Located on the central Dalmatian coast, Split is home to the Diocletian's Palace, a wellpreserved ancient Roman palace that dates to the 4th century. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the second-largest city in Croatia, known for its charming squares, rich cultural and historical heritage sites, and the beautiful beaches of Bacvice, Trstenik, and Kasjuni.
These two islands are located just off the coast from Split. Hvar has several beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters including Dubovica, Zavala, and Sveta Nedjelja. Known for its nightlife, Hvar is home to a variety of bars, clubs, and restaurants, that offer a range of music and entertainment options.
Brac, the largest island in Dalmatia, is known for its olive groves, marble quarries and for its beautiful beaches. The island is also home to several historic buildings and cultural attractions, including the Blaca Monastery, which was founded in the 16th century and is now a museum.
The distance between the island of Brac and the Kornati Islands National Park is about 35 kilometers (22 miles) by boat. This cluster of over 140 islands is a must-see destination with beautiful, rugged landscapes, rocky cliffs, clear blue waters, small fishing villages, and uninhabited islands.
The city of Dubrovnik on the southern Dalmatian coast is a beautiful well-preserved medieval city with a rich history and cultural heritage.

About 500 distinguished guests danced and dined at one of the most exclusive summer parties of the year in the island hotspot of Nantucket, Massachusetts, in July. Celebrations centered around N Magazine’s 20th anniversary and for this years occasion, Allied Marine partnered with N Magazine to present the Allied Marine Lounge & Bar, to host the N Magazine Platinum Party VIP Guests. Allied Marine clients and brokers in the Northeast joined the exclusive party. Known for Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Itama, Custom Line, Pershing, and Wally lines, the Allied Marine team also showcased an elegant Riva 88’ Folgore yacht docked at the Boat Basin in front of Cru Restaurant. Just as N Magazine is famous for fascinating and remarkable stories of the community surrounding this tiny, isolated island off Cape Cod, this party certainly fit the bill. The magazine covers the historical and contemporary maritime lifestyle, as well as media stars, local icons, what's hip, and the most innovative and inspiring in dining - and all the above were found among the glimmering guests at the event's unique location, the Nantucket Whaling Museum. Partying in the museum's mezzanine with a terrific view of the excitement and the genuine whale skeleton, glimmering partygoers danced the night away with DJ Maple Syrup under disco balls and lights.

A special thanks goes out to each and every one of the event cosponsors that contributed to making this event memorable! Allied Marine yacht owners with their families attended an exclusive Allied Marine event this July in Montauk. At the east end of Long Island, this New York village's famous coastline and beaches were the perfect spots for the exclusive Allied Marine Private Rendezvous. Over a hundred guests, as well as other Allied Marine clients, arrived by yacht to enjoy three days of lavish hospitality including dining, drinks, entertainment, and special camaraderie. The luxe events began with guest check-in at the intimate Gurney’s Star Island Resort and Marina, followed by a welcome reception at Sunset Pier. The next day, guests set sail off to Navy Beach, a popular local beachfront restaurant on 200 feet of private beach overlooking Fort Pond Bay, which was privatized exclusively for the event. DJ music, beach, custom towel bars and various activities in and off the water offered special enjoyment to families with kids. The third and last day featured the “Experience Day” providing guests with an array of adventures coordinated by a dedicated Allied Marine concierge service. Guests were able to privately enjoy test drives, yoga classes, exquisite wine and scotch tasting experiences, a private fashion trunk show, and much more. Aperitifs and the Rendezvous Gala at Gurney’s Ballroom followed to round out a magical weekend. Guest stars of the event: Riva 88’ Folgore and Wallytender48X.

Surrounded by the shimmer of extraordinary new yachts in the world’s most coveted address, Allied Marine VIP Clients, with their brokers, enjoyed this year's Ferretti Group Private Preview 2022.
Centered in the Monaco Yacht Club and Marina, the Ferretti Group fleet included five new yacht premieres. The annual event, invitation-only, is the summer's most exclusive gathering and took place the week prior to the Cannes Yachting Festival. Guests toured the extensive fleet of Ferretti Yachts, Rivas, Itamas, Custom Lines, Pershings, and Wallys and experienced private viewings and sea trials.
Highlighted was Riva's presentation of sustainability, the new El-Iseo, the company's first full electric runabout, an electric version of the Iseo. The 27-foot runabout yacht is a meld of traditional design, advanced technology, and cuttingedge innovation and is powered by a Parker GVM310 full electric engine.
During the evenings, guests were delighted with a series of private dinners at the Yacht Club by Massimo Bottura, the three-Michelin-star Italian celebrity chef. The night was capped off with dancing to Niels Rodgers and the iconic discofunk band Chic.

The premiere show for the European boating season, Cannes Yachting Festival leads the way with the world's top yachts, with more than 650 boats on display in one of the oldest harbors on the French Riviera, the Vieux Port in the city's center and at Port Canto, main hub for the sailing vessels. Ferretti Group premiered five new Riva, Ferretti Yachts, and Custom Line yachts among the fleet of 25 yachts.
Drawing a crowd, the yachts included the Ferretti Yachts 860 flybridge, the Custom Line 140’ flagship, the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, the Riva 76’ Bahamas Super, the exclusive Riva Anniversario, and the Itama 62RS model year 2022. Following on the heels of a world debut at Ferretti Group’s seventh Private Preview in Monaco was the Riva full electric propulsion, ElIseo, the Iseo runabout with environmentally sustainable technology.

The newly renovated Fort Lauderdale Ferretti Group Flagship Showroom opened to the public just in time for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With 20,000 square feet, it is the largest covered in-water showroom in the Americas. Resulting from a modernization plan that involved the creation of 12 covered boat moorings, offices, and a welcome area for customers, as well as the exclusive Riva corner (Riva privé), which reprises the sophisticated stylistic hallmarks of Riva Lounges around the world. It is a flagship showroom unlike any other in the world.

Allied Marine displayed eight magnificent brokerage boats and superyachts. Yachts by Riva, Pershing, Ferretti, Sunseeker, Azimut, Crescent, and Benetti were on display, with a total value of $44.4 million USD.
Our visitors enjoyed the perfect refuge to relax, recuperate, and mingle while at the show. Allied Marine provided a private lounge with a world-class bar and a selection of international refreshments. Guests were treated to freshly ground Miele espresso and Smeraldina water. Like-minded yacht and superyacht owners sipped chilled glasses of La Scola and Chateau La Gordonne, as well as the best selection of Valdo prosecco. A select group enjoyed a private sampling of the Macallan's best expressions.
This year, Allied Marine was pleased to support two International Superyachts Society initiatives. One was at Monaco for the Monaco Yacht Show. On September 28th, the beautiful Monaco Yacht Club hosted the Annual Members Reception. This is a high-profile yearly networking gathering for international members. The second was The Annual Design and Leadership Awards Gala which was held on October 27th at the Yacht Club Fort Lauderdale. With over 200 of the industry's most significant professionals gathered to honor this year's award recipients, Allied Marine was excited to be among the event's elite international sponsors.

During the five-day boat show, Allied Marine organized two private events.
On Friday, October 28th, Allied Marine hosted an exclusive private dinner for about thirty VIP guests and their spouses in collaboration with The Macallan team. Evelyn's Restaurant's private patio, located at the beautiful new Four Seasons Hotel Fort Lauderdale, was the ideal setting for such a beautiful, intimate and convivial occasion. Highlights of the event included a very special welcome from a world-class illusionist and the Macallan Brand Ambassador, who offered some of The Macallan's best expressions with each supper course and introduced the guests to their premier expression of The Macallan M Copper.
On Saturday, October 29th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Allied Marine hosted a Halloween exclusive cocktail event on the dock and at the boat show display. An international mix of Allied yacht brokers and their guests, opinion leaders, and select members of the press gathered at the Allied boat show display for an aperitif. Approximately one hundred guests were received by two greeters dressed in Halloween costumes for the festivities. The evening was accompanied by DJ music, and the bar offered Aperol Spritzes, and a variety of wines, liquors, and hors d'oeuvres.
Ferretti Group takes to the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) with three spectacular premieres for the American market: the Custom Line 106’, the Riva 102' Corsaro Super and the Riva 76' Bahamas Super. Staged at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, FLIBS is a cornerstone of the international yachting scene and presents a wide range of boats and yachts from all over the world.
The Ferretti Group displayed 9 models representing Custom Line, Riva, Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Wally, including the three American market premieres.
Two of the premieres were Riva models: the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, a masterpiece of marine design that takes flybridge yachts into a new dimension, offering the ultimate in living comfort and the Riva 76’ Bahamas Super, a convertible yacht that combines innovation and style as characterized by the C-Top, the aerodynamic carbon fiber top that converts it from an open into a coupe and vice versa.
Completing the premieres was a Custom Line 106’, which epitomizes the brand’s ‘Made in Italy’ ethos with an elegant, modern design that seamlessly embraces both interiors and exteriors.
The premieres for the American market were joined by an amazing selection of models in the Ferretti Group fleet including the Ferretti Yachts 780 and 920, Riva 90’ Argo, Pershing 8X and 9X, and the wallytender48X.
