Wallywhy200 is the first model of the new wallywhy range, which made its World debut at Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 and already left an indelible mark on the world of yacht design.
The innovative motor yacht combining the comfort and space of a larger displacement yacht with the speed and performance of a semidisplacement, was developed by Wally design team led by Luca Bassani, Wally's Founder and Chief Designer, jointly with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, working with Laurent Giles NA Ltd for naval architecture and Vallicelli Design Studio for interior design.

In keeping with a design philosophy that aims, on the one hand, to combine form and function through distinctive and highly recognizable aesthetic and, on the other, to guarantee a new and immersive yachting experience with the element of water, wallywhy200 features a spectacular 4.7-meter-high glazed bow housing a stunning 37 m2 master suite overlooking the sea, with an uninterrupted 270-degree view of the horizon. This cabin stands out also for its exceptional noise levels thanks to the positioning of the engine room which is located at the opposite end of the yacht.
The eye-catching upper deck has a futuristic glass and carbon dome, a distinctive Wally feature that is reminiscent of the clean, angular look of the legendary wallypower118. Also on the upper deck, the extended, structural top with no supporting pillars is a masterpiece of design and engineering for its exceptional stability and strength.
Stunning mastersuite overlooks the sea, with an uninterrupted 270o view of the horizon.
The wallywhy200 features a four-cabin layout: the master cabin with two separate bathrooms on the main deck, a VIP and two guest cabins on the lower deck. An absolute novelty is the spectacular one-piece laminated carbon staircase which, as well as having a load-bearing function, is an extremely light element connecting the three decks and making the bulkheads superfluous in the huge 61 m2 open space living area, enhanced by a practical show-cooking kitchen. Open-pore teak was chosen for the furniture. The walkways of the two living halls and the lower deck corridor are also teak. The restful and natural color palette of neutral and sandy tones creates a refined and timeless effect.
Thanks to the 5G wireless network connection with home automation control, guests are able to comfortably manage all the audio/video systems via mobile devices, both outside and inside the yacht. Through Naviop's integrated system, they will also be able to check navigation data, keeping the yacht's progress and parameters constantly under control. The first unit features a state-of-the-art 55 inch TV in the upper living room and a 5.1 Premium sound system on the main and upper decks, while a sophisticated Sonance sound system serves the outdoor areas.
Experiencing the sea means also enjoying activities in direct contact with the water. The wallywhy200 is unsurpassed in this respect too: the folding beach club bulwarks, for example, not only allow access to the sea on three sides (according to a radically innovative concept), but also expand the living area to 32 m2, transforming it into a true terrace over the water, with size and features that make all competitors, even larger ones, pale in comparison. In addition, wallywhy200 boasts two garages with a storage capacity never seen before on yachts of this size, capable of accommodating a 4.05m jet tender, wave runner, seabob, paddleboard and all manner of water toys.
As all Wally hulls, the wallywhy200 is capable of cutting the waves without hitting and thus minimizing the pitching, the enhanced power package offers four Volvo Penta D-13 IPS 1350 engines 1,000 hp each. Thanks to these groundbreaking features, wallywhy200 can cruise at any speed (23 knots top speed), maintaining a horizontal position without reducing the guests’ comfort on board, which is unique among fast semi-displacement yachts. Its width combined with the fin stabilizers - as a standard feature - that can be activated when at anchor or while cruising, and with two Seakeepers, ensures greater stability compared to conventional hulls.

Italian, French, Portuguese, or Albanian: which European riviera will it be this summer? It’s certainly not easy making a decision with this kind of variety. Whichever one you pick, keep in mind that July and August are notoriously busy months across all coasts, and all bookings need to be made well in advance.

Italy has no shortage of breathtaking coastal regions, but its Riviera is exceptionally unique (riviera is an Italian term, after all). The region lies between the Ligurian Sea, Alps, and Apennines and is synonymous with the colorful Cinque Terre fishing villages. Focaccie, trofie al pesto, and farinata: these are just some of the savory indulgences synonymous with the region...and in Italy, there’s always much more. There is arguably little that is off the beaten path in the country, but the medieval village of Portovenere (a Lord Byron favorite!) manages to maintain its everyday authentic magic and deserves a day trip of its own. And Liguria’s postcard resort city, Portofino, needs no introduction. For a dose of city life and Fabrizio De André legacy, head towards the port city of Genoa.
The Estoril Coast wasn’t always referred to as a riviera, but the Italian and French coastlines have seemingly brought on a naming trend. And truth be told, the region does exude “riviera energy”. The coast is picturesque, the stone bass is exceptionally fresh, and the mild climate is as welcoming as they come. Plus, Lisbon’s signature nightlife is right nearby. King Luís I of Portugal would spend his summers in Cascais – and for good reason: the town might just be the epitome of Portugal.

Crossing the Franco-Italian border into France and the southeast coast of Provence, the Côte d’Azur offers unparalleled settings: Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Nice are the most-loved and most-visited in the area. In late spring, the Monaco Grand Prix injects boisterous energy and action into Monaco. Between Michelin-starred restaurants and local bistros, there’s a wealth of excellent cuisine to be tried (though the Provençal fish stew, bouillabaisse, might not be for everyone). And if you’ve ever wondered what a Niçoise salad would taste like when tucked into a sandwich, make it your mission to grab a pan bagnat when in Nice!
Once upon a time, Albania’s Riviera was still a secret of some sort. No more, social media and television cameos have catapulted the region to fame, and the riviera is increasingly dotted with tourist services and is often referred to as “the next Croatia”. The region’s most popular city, Ksamil, boasts the kind of pristine turquoise waters that are rather rare to come across in Europe. Keep in mind, though, that despite its untarnished beauty, the Albanian Riviera has fewer luxury facilities when compared to the French, Italian, and Portuguese counterparts.
Though relatively close to one another, the Italian, French, Portuguese, and Albanian rivieras each offer their own kind of magic, whether it's the hue of the water, the way the sun shines through the trees, the balance of spices in the foods, the spirit of the citizens, or the general je ne sais quoi atmosphere.
