FOUNDATIONS OF BUSINESS SUCCESS
SBM is a result-oriented program for adults who own their own businesses. The goal of the SBM program is to expose you to new ideas and help you discover ways to successfully grow your business. Meets once a month in Sweet Home. Attend the orientation, on January 28, for more information. Scholarships or discounts may apply.
Led by Stephen Fuller, a successful entrepreneur in the Corvallis area who is also a business adviser. On Tuesday evenings participants will learn how to create and assess a plan for a new business. The series features professional speakers covering branding and web pages, social media/digital marketing strategies, financial management, pricing, cash flow, sales, legal topics, insurance, market research and more. This is the perfect course for the entrepreneur who owns a new business (aged zero to 4 years, approximately) looking to find every competitive advantage. One-on-one advising is included. Scholarships and discounts are available.

Students are expected to have on-line capability, to self study, to attend all class sessions, and to attend a 9-5 study session on Saturday, March 14. This class meets the requirements to pass the Oregon Construction Contractors’ Board education requirements in compliance with ORS 701.280. Class meets Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks beginning February 25, 6-10pm, and one Saturday, February 29, 9 am - 1 pm. Instruction includes 80 questions in a practice exam plus tips on how to best prepare and take the State of Oregon exam. Manual included.
