So, if you want to prepare something special for them as a surprise then you can go for items like risotto based on cheddar cheese. This type of cheese has traditionally formed a part and parcel of soups and sauces in English households. But if you want to try something different then, this item would be an ideal option to go for. To make this delicacy, you will require 1 spoonful each of butter and olive oil, 300 grams of risotto rice, 125 ml of white wine, 2 thinly sliced baby leeks, 1 liter of hot vegetable stock, 125 g of cheddar cheese, half spoon of Dijon mustard and 2 spoons of freshly chopped chives. While cooking, use a medium sized pan for melting butter and oil. SautĂŠ the sliced baby leeks till they get softened. Then, add risotto rice and continue whisking for around a minute or two. After that, increase the heat to add mustard and wine. Keep stirring till the wine gets absorbed totally. Start scooping in the hot stock, to let each scoopful to get absorbed as you swirl prior to adding the next. Whisk and scoop till the rice is all done. It will take around 20 minutes. Then add cheese and stir it within the rice till it melts. While stirring, take the pan off the heat and place the risotto into warm bowls. Add some chopped chives as

To prepare this delicacy, you will require kosher salt, 5 ounces of egg noodles, 1 spoon of extra virgin olive oil, 1 seeded and chopped red bell paper, 1 ½ cup of sour cream, 12 ounces of ground beef, half spoon of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, a bunch of finely chopped scallions, 1 spoon of Italian seasoning, 14 ½ ounce of can petite diced tomatoes, a single spoon of tomato paste and 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese. First, you will have to preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Oil a 2 quart baking dish well. You will need to use a big pot of salted water for boiling. Add the noodles and cook till it’s complete as per the manufacturer instructions. Drain the water, and then place the noodles in a baking dish. Pour the Parmesan cheese, sour cream and ¼ th spoon of salt on it. Heat the olive oil at medium height and add ground beef to it. Stir the meat well till it loses its pink colour. It will take around 5 minutes.
Add the scallions and bell peppers to meat and stir for 2-3 minutes till they become soft. Prepare some space in the pan, and add tomato paste. Warm it for a minute, before adding Italian seasoning along with Âź teaspoon salt. Pour the diced potatoes, swirl and boil it till they become a bit thickened. Dispense the beef mixture over noodles and add some grated cheddar cheese as seasoning. Bake it in the middle rack till the cheese melts in 15-20 minutes. Let it stand for 10 minutes prior to serving.
