 Japanese Peace Pagoda: The pagoda was erected a Buddhist organization named “Nipponzan Myohoji” to spread the message of peace and


tranquility. The pagoda showcases four avatars or reincarnations of Lord Buddha. The positioning of the Pagoda offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountain range and of Darjeeling. Frequent prayer and meditation sessions are the highlight events that happen in the Pagoda that transcends one to a world a peace and serenity.  Yiga Choling Gompa: It is located on the west of Ghum town and houses a five meter tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. And it is a sacred site of worship for the yellow-hat sect of Buddha was built in 1850 and is Darjeeling’s most famous monastery. The walls of the monastery are painted with beautiful murals that depict Buddhist teachings.  Batista Loop: This Joy train trip will definitely will arouse the child in you. The train takes a route that is nestled midst some of the most scenic vistas in the Indian mountain ranges. The Loop was declared as a World Heritage Site in 1999 adding to its historical importance.
