Cruising the Emerald Green Backwaters of Alleppey

Alappuzha otherwise called Alleppey, is a town in Alappuzha District of Kerala state of southern India. It is the managerial base camp of Alappuzha District. Alappuzha is thought to be the most seasoned arranged town in this district and the beacon based on the bank of the town is the first of its kind along the Laccadive Sea coast. Alappuzha is a paramount traveler end in India. The Backwaters of Alappuzha are the most well known vacation destination in Kerala. A houseboat voyage in these backwaters is a delightful experience. The best thing about Alappuzha and Kerala by and large is the climate. Because of its vicinity to the sea it is more calm than focal India. Things that make Alleppey cool  Houseboats: there is no place on earth where you can find a similar inexpensive mode of home stay like that provided by houseboats. They provide the same luxury and comfort of uberluxurious yachts yet can be availed at prices that are less than one-tenth of a yacht stay. Houseboats take their inmates on a cruise from one part of the city to another spanning a day or night. They are equipped with all kitchen amenities and staying facilities that are at par with star hotels in Alleppey.  Watch the sunrise and sunset: There is a charm to watching the breaking of dawn from the deck of a houseboat. It is a view that no beach facing

house or hill top resort can ever match. The sunrise and sunset have a magic to them that can enthrall even the most somber minds to the excitement.

 Kerala Cuisine: Kerala diet contains fish and meat as an inevitable ingredient. The fish curries that local, untrained but expert chefs can prepare will put even star chefs to shame. Kerala Sadhya or the Kerala meals is yet another food feast that one should never miss to have on a visit to Kerala. The dishes will not only fill your stomachs but will also fill your hearts to the brim of a worthwhile trip.

 Chinese fishing nets: Cast your nets and catch some fresh fish for your supper. These Chinese fishing nets do most of the fishing in the region and are known to be a cultural identity of Kerala as a whole. These nets dips in and out of the water for nearly 250 to 350 times a day and brings home more fish than a ship can ever bring in one shot.
