My start-up makes pure donkey milk vodka

history
In 1903, our great grandfather decided to give up on his carreer as an engineer on ships and to break the chain of this hereditary profession in his island Andros, in Greece. Along with his younger brother they decided to stay in the island and start breeding sheeps. Initially they bought 12 sheeps and 2 donkeys in order to trasport them everyday from their house, near to Chora of Andros, to the north part of the island, where their small sheep shed was. For generations, our family made traditional cheese by their sheeps, increasing the size of the herd, always keeping two donkeys along them to help in transportation, heavy loads and lugs. Gradually the two dokneys became three and then four... so, we ended breeding donkeys, too! We knew the process of making sheep cheese, so why not trying to make donkey milk and cheese? Untill today, our wider family makes traditional cheese, expanding, more and more, the sheep and the donkey herd and their shed. We
were
supposed
to
make
cheese,
too
...
But we wanted to make something new, innovative, tastefull, something groundbreaking that breaks the chain of our new hereditary profession, like our great grandfather did. Actually, we didn’t simply chuck this tradition into the bin. In fact, we just looked in the bin and saw how much milk was being wasted. That’s
