LOCKER NAMING OPPORTUNITIES
This is your chance to be a part of history at Eastern Michigan University. Tennis courts will return to the campus of EMU, thanks to a leadership gift by Claudia Wasik (‘62) and a supporting gift by Lucy Parker (‘58). Six courts will be constructed north of the EMU Indoor Practice Facility. The complex will be constructed by the winter of 2012. It is fitting that this tennis complex be named in Claudia’s honor. She is a 1997 E-Club Hall of Fame inductee as a former coach at EMU. Over her 12-year run (1980-91 seasons) as the head coach for the EMU Tennis program, she had eight individuals or doubles teams claim Mid-American Conference Championships, 19 All-MAC honorees, four Academic All-MAC accolades and was a two-time MAC Coach of the Year (1984, 1986). We are thrilled to have tennis courts back at EMU with the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex, but there is still a need to enhance the facility further with a locker room, team meeting room/lounge, and bleachers. Alumni and friends like you have helped to build a community of Claudia Wasik support for the EMU Tennis program. Help us grow this effort to reach a championship level both on and off the court. This new facility will allow the program to compete at the top of the Mid-American Conference on a perennial basis. Join us today as we continue to build and strengthen the foundation and support of the EMU Tennis program. A number of giving opportunities are available and are listed on the inside of this brochure.

All leadership naming opportunities include locker naming rights.
Once constructed, the team locker room will house eight lockers, each with naming rights. At a price of $5,000 per locker, this is a special opportunity to support the EMU Tennis program. Each purchased locker will have a plaque with the text of your choice in appreciation of your leadership role.
