Es una nueva satisfacción compartir con usted, estimado pasajero, que por segundo año consecutivo Amaszonas se ubicó entre las 100 empresas bolivianas más responsables y con mejor gobierno corporativo. El Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa (Merco) realizó la evaluación en Bolivia y otros países de Iberoamérica considerando diferentes aspectos sobre la responsabilidad social corporativa. Merco es ya uno de los monitores de referencia en el mundo. Se trata de un instrumento de evaluación reputacional lanzado en el año 2000, basado en una metodología multistakeholder compuesta por cinco evaluaciones y 12 fuentes de información. Se trata del primer monitor auditado del mundo, pues el seguimiento y verificación de su proceso de elaboración y resultados son objetos de una revisión independiente por parte de KPMG, según la norma ISAE 3000 que publica su dictamen para cada edición. Todas nuestras acciones de responsabilidad social corporativa se enmarcan en nuestro programa “Amamos lo que hacemos” y a través del cual hemos desarrollado diferentes alianzas que tienen como objetivo una identidad con la “comunidad”. El programa ya tiene dos años, pero desde el nacimiento de la aerolínea pudimos realizar diferentes acciones sociales. Es importante destacar que con este programa apoyamos a entidades como Special Olympics Bolivia, con quien compartimos la responsabilidad de buscar la inclusión social y el respeto para las personas con discapacidad intelectual a través del deporte. Hace poco participó en la Copa América de Fútbol en Uruguay y el año pasado en las Olimpiadas de Estados Unidos, siendo uno de los equipos con mayores logros. Somos una de las tres empresas aliadas de la organización Techo Bolivia, cuyos integrantes realizan labores de ayuda y construcción de viviendas en La Paz y Santa Cruz. Con el Rotary Club trasladamos salud a diferentes zonas rurales que no cuentan con profesionales médicos. De manera directa transportamos a personas que necesitan de atención médica urgente. Hemos asistido con vuelos solidarios ante emergencias o desastres. También es importante la alianza que tenemos con la Fundación Arco Iris, que atiende a más de 5.000 niñas, niños y jóvenes de y en la calle. Gracias a usted porque con su preferencia nos permite realizar y mantener estas acciones, y nos identifica como la empresa responsable que seguiremos construyendo. Once again we are greatly pleased to be able to share with you, our esteemed passenger, that for the second consecutive year, Amaszonas has been named one of the top 100 Bolivian Companies in terms of corporate responsibility and management. The Monitor of Business Corporate Reputation (Merco for short) conducted an evaluation in Bolivia and other countries of Ibero-America that looked at different aspects of corporate social responsibility. Merco is already a worldwide reference for such monitoring and evaluation. This tool that evaluates reputations was launched in 2000, and is based on a multi-stakeholder methodology and is made up of five evaluations and 12 sources of information. It is the first such monitor which is audited in the world, since the follow-up and verification of its methodology and results are subject to an independent revision conducted by KPMG, according to the ISAE 3000 rule that is published for each edition. All of our social responsibility programs are joined together under one program called, “We love what we do” and it is through this program that we have developed different alliances, all with the objective of creating a common identity of “community”. This program is already two-years old, even though our company, since it inception, has always dedicated itself to different social actions. It is important to highlight that with this program we support programs like the Bolivian Special Olympics, with whom we share the responsibility of creating social inclusion and respect for people with mental handicaps through sports. Recently, this group participated in the Copa America of Soccer in Uruguay and last year in the Olympics held in the USA, and was the team with the most achievements. We are one of three companies allied with the organization Techo Bolivia (Bolivian Roof), which is a program that provides assistance and helps to construct housing in La Paz and Santa Cruz. With the Rotary Club, we bring health services to different rural areas that have no medical professionals. We also provide transportation to people who are in need of urgent medical attention. We have provided various solidarity flights for emergencies or disasters. La Laguna Colorada tiene un encanto que no poseen sus hermanas de colores blanco y verde, ubicadas en la Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Abaroa (Bolivia). El espejo de agua alberga microorganismos de los que se alimentan miles de flamencos, que llegan hasta allí en la temporada veraniega para anidar. La tonalidad de esta laguna, situada en pleno altiplano a 4.300 m s.n.m., es debido a los sedimentos del color rojo y pigmentos de algunos tipos de algas y plancton que se activan con la luz solar y el viento. Abarca una superficie cercana a los 70 km2, contando con una profundidad media de tan solo 35 cm. ¿Quieres conocer este mágico lugar? Desde Uyuni hay servicios de transporte terrestre que realizan el trayecto de 292 km en cinco horas. Te aseguramos que vale la pena hacerlo. The Laguna Colorada has a singular charm, not held by her sister lakes of white and green, located in the Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Abaroa (Bolivia). This water-made mirror is home to microorganisms that feed thousands of flamingos that reach this location during summer to nest. The color of this lake, found on the high Bolivian plateau at 4,300 meters above sea level, is caused by the red sediment and the pigmentations provided by some algae and plankton that are activated with sunlight and wind. It covers a surface areas of close to 70 square km, and with an average depth of only 35 cm. So you want to go to this magical place? From Uyuni there are various land services that will make the 292km drive in about five hours. It is so worth it.

Cumplir con el rol de madre y ejecutiva es algo muy común en el mundo empresarial de hoy en día. Obviamente, el trabajo para la mujer se duplica y se complica, y es cuando ellas tienen que organizarse para cumplir a cabalidad. Conoce a cinco supermamás bolivianas que comparten sus tips para triunfar en casa y en la oficina.

Today it is very common for women to be both good mothers and executives. Obviously, the work for women is doubled and more complicated, and thus women must be very organized in order to meet all of the obligations. Here you will meet five Bolivian super moms who will share their tips on how to triumph at home and in the office. Ejercer los roles de mamá y profesional actualmente suele ser difícil. Distribuir el tiempo entre el trabajo y la crianza es complicado, pero si se tiene la convicción de realizar ambas actividades no existe mayor inconveniente para una mujer, así lo piensan las señoras que elegimos para homenajear a las madres en esta edición. En mayo, celebran su día el primer domingo del mes: Chile, Perú y Uruguay; el 15, Paraguay, y el 27, Bolivia. Además, por supuesto, de muchos países en Latinoamérica y el mundo. Si bien los horarios de las mamás-ejecutivas son apretados, ninguna descuida en ningún momento el crecimiento de sus hijos y sus necesidades, además de aprovechar todo el tiempo que puedan para estar con ellos. “Todo es cuestión de organizarse”, afirman. Y para todas está claro que sus hijos, su familia, siempre estará en primer lugar.

Being both a mom and an executive is not easy. Distributing your time between your paying job and raising children is complicated, but if you have the conviction to do both, then there is no further obligation for being female, which is what the women we pay homage to believe. In May, they will celebrate their day on the first Sunday of the month in Chile, Peru and Uruguay; on the 15th in Paraguay and on the 27th in Bolivia. And there are many other celebrations in other countries of Latin America and throughout the world. While executive-moms have tight schedules, none of them is careless in the upbringing of her children and caring for her children’s needs. It’s more, these women take advantage of all the time they do spend with their children. “It is all a questions of getting organized,” they say. And for them all, it is clear that their children and families always come first.

MARÍA RENÉ ANTELO DE GUTIÉRREZ ADMINISTRADORA DE BE COSMETICS

María René Antelo trabaja desde sus 17 años, por lo que está acostumbrada a manejar su economía sin depender de nadie. De allí que pudo ahorrar y montar el negocio que ahora administra. “Recientemente me convertí en madre y mi vida cambió por completo, tengo una enorme responsabilidad y es la más hermosa: mi hija Alessandra (cinco meses)”. Sin embargo, la también modelo publicitaria sugiere seguir un plan en el que todo tenga su espacio y su tiempo. “Pero, ojo, no hay que desesperarse por no poder cumplir con las tareas. Particularmente, yo misma me reclamo porque quisiera salir a tomar un café con mis amigas y a reuniones familiares, pero sé que ahora mi vida gira en torno a mi hija, a mi esposo y, en tercer lugar, mi negocio”. María René Antelo has been working since she was 17-years old, and for that reason she is used to managing her finances without depending on anyone. From that work, she was able to save and start the company that she now runs. “Recently I became a mother, and that completely changed my life, I have an enormous responsibility and it’s beautiful: my daughter Alessandra (5 months).” Nonetheless, this publicist model advises following a plan where everything is given a space and time. “But look, there is no reason to get nervous if you don’t accomplish everything. Personally, I complain because I would like to go out for coffee with friends and family events, but I know that now my life revolves around my daughter, my husband and in third place, my business.”

LUZ MARÍA CALVO DE APONTE

GERENTE DE MÁRQUETIN DEL HOTEL LOS TAJIBOS Luz María Calvo está convencida de que el equilibrio entre familia y trabajo trae estabilidad emocional; sin embargo, asegura, que sus labores más importante son ser madre y esposa. “Si en algún momento se requiere que yo me dedique a mis hijos por completo, lo haría”. Considera que hombres y mujeres tienen sueños y deben trabajar para alcanzarlos. “Mis hijos están en una edad (Cristian tiene 6 y Martina, 3) en la que entienden que las ausencias de sus padres son en determinados horarios. Al margen de eso, saben que mi tiempo libre es 100 % para ellos. Mi atención es completa y lo sienten”, expresa. Luz María Calvo is convinced that the equilibrium between her family life and her job creates emotional stability; nonetheless, she is certain, that her most important work is being a mother and wife. “If at any time, my family would need me to be a full-time mom, I would do it.” She believes that both men and women have dreams and they should work to reach them. “My children are at an age (Cristian is six and Martina is three), in which they understand that their parents are absent during certain times of day. Besides those times, they know that my free time is 100% for them. They have my complete attention and they can feel that,” she says.

SUBGERENTA DE COMUNICACIÓN INSTITUCIONAL Y RRPP DE VIVA Isabel Araníbar asegura que sus hijos (Danielle, Alexander y Oliver Brockmann) no le permitirían renunciar a su trabajo. “Ellos saben que eso es una parte esencial en el desarrollo de cada persona”, expresa. “No es difícil combinar los roles de madre y ejecutiva, pero sí requiere sacrificios, renuncias y mucha organización. Los resultados siempre son buenos cuando combinas y destinas pasión y amor en todo lo que haces”. Isabel Araníbar is certain that her children (Danielle, Alexander and Oliver Brockmann) would not let her quit her job. “They know that this is an essential part of the development of each person,” she says.“It is not hard to combine the roles of mother and executive, but it does require sacrifices, and a lot of organization. The results are always good when you combine and use passion and love in all that you do.”

No obstante, el tiempo que con su pareja le dedica a Luis (24), Mateo (16) y Gabriel (11) es fundamental. “Nos encanta viajar juntos y la verdad es que ellos son los compañeros perfectos, siempre están de buen humor y la pasamos espectacular”. “When you love what you do, nothing is impossible”, emphasizes Katya Fuertes to refer to her job as a mother, wife and executive of her own company. “It involves certain sacrifices that one must assume in order to achieve objectives such as: being able to give my children a good quality of life and, most importantly, a good training”. Y precisamente, esta profesional puntualiza que la seguridad, el orden, la integridad, el respeto, la persistencia y la pasión al emprender cualquier oficio por más simple que sea, son características que llevan al éxito a cualquier persona y, en especial, a la mujer. Para “Kris”, quedarse en casa no es una opción en su vida. “Me gusta que mis hijos me vean levantándome temprano para ir al trabajo y que sepan que las cosas que hemos llegado a tener nos costó conseguirlas”. “Working just as your spouse does, in addition to economic independence, also gives you security,” says Krishna Suárez, mother of Salvador (4) and Franco (2). Sucre is the city that is home to the most beautiful historical center in Bolivia. This capital city of the department of Chuquisaca and the Constitutional Capital of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, with her houses and churches dating from the Colonial and New Republic eras, was declared Historical and Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by the UN. Uno de sus tesoros más preciados es la Virgen de Guadalupe, pintada en 1601 por Fray Diego de Ocaña. En 1748, el lienzo se reforzó con una plancha maciza de oro y plata, representando el manto, dejando de la pintura original el rostro de la Madre de Dios y el del niño.

DE MANOS INDÍGENAS El Museo de Arte Indígena es otro punto imperdible en Sucre. Se trata de uno de los 14 museos de la capital que, en nueve salas, muestra la riqueza de los tejidos jalq’a, tarabuco y tinquipaya, elaborados por mujeres y algunos hombres de varias comunidades de los departamentos de Chuquisaca y Potosí. Su objetivo es enseñar las técnicas milenarias que aún se mantienen vivas. En sus exposiciones pone de manifiesto no solo las extraordinarias cualidades de las telas, sino las historias que las mujeres habilidosamente cuentan en ellas. FROM INDIGENOUS HANDS The Museum of Indigenous Art is a place you cannot miss while in Sucre. It is one of 14 museums in the capital city that, in nine rooms, shows the richness of weavings of jalq’a, tarabuco and tiquipaya, elaborated by women and some men from various communities in the departments of Chuquisaca and Potosi. The goal is to teach the ancient technics that have been kept alive. In the expositions, one can see not only the extraordi20

Para tener una vista panorámica de Sucre, no hay que dejar de visitar el Mirador de La Recoleta, frente a un monasterio del año 1601. En el sitio se venden artesanías. The best place to get a panoramic view of Sucre is from the Lookout point of the Recoleta, in front of a monastery built in 1601. Here many artisans sell their wares.

PARA CONTEMPLAR LA CIUDAD El Monasterio de La Recoleta (fundado en 1601) dio su nombre al paseo o mirador que tiene en frente. Es un sitio interesante para conocer no solo porque desde allí se tiene una vista panorámica, sino porque esta gran plaza fue testigo de la fundación de La Plata (hoy Sucre) en 1538. Allí se encuentra un reloj de sol y “la peregrina”, una bella fuente de piedra llamada así por haber estado en varios puntos de la ciudad. Por la importante cantidad de turistas que visitan este mirador, se ha convertido en un lugar especial para adquirir artesanías; buenos recuerdos para llevar casa. EN UN MUNDO DE GIGANTES A cinco kilómetros de Sucre se encuentra el Parque Cretácico, construido a partir del descubrimiento de Cal Orck’o (cerro de cal), un farallón con 5.055 huellas de dinosaurios de 22

CONTEMPLATING THE CITY The Monastery of the Recoleta (founded in 1601) gave its name to the path and lookout point that is found in front of it. It is an interesting place to get to know not only because from here there is a panoramic view, but also because this large plaza was witness to the foundation of the “La Plata” (what today is called Sucre), in 1538. Here, the sundial is found along with “the peregrine,” a beautiful stone fountain given this name because it has been located in various places in the city. Given the large number of tourists that visit this lookout site, it has turned into an important place for finding artisanal items, which are great souvenirs to take home.

IN A GIANT’S LAND Five miles from Sucre, is the Cretaceous Park, constructed when the Cal Orck’o (a hill of limestone) was discovered. Here, there is an outcrop with 5,055 dinosaur tracks from at least eight species. Additionally, now this place presents replicas of the last period of time in which these giant animals inhabited South America, 68 million years ago. These replicas were made to real scale by sculptors working under the direction of paleontologists. There is also a museum with paleontological items where a replica of a carnotaurus dinosaur skeleton is on display, enormous! It is time to return. LIBERTAD Freedom

El 25 de mayo, Sucre celebra 207 años del Primer Grito Libertario de América o la “chispa de la liberación americana”, ocurrida en 1809, aunque la independencia del Alto Perú o Charcas (hoy Bolivia) recién se proclamó el 6 de agosto de 1825 en este salón del antiguo edificio universitario de los jesuitas, conocido luego como Casa de la Libertad. Aquí se sancionó la primera Constitución de Bolivia, redactada por el Libertador Simón Bolívar, así como las leyes fundamentales del nuevo Estado, y en él prestó juramento, como primer presidente de la República el Mariscal Antonio José Sucre, como lo hicieron después otros mandatarios. On May 25, Sucre will celebrate 207 years since the First Cry of Freedom of the Americas, or the “spark of American freedom”, which took place in 1809. EN LA BITÁCORA / On the blog Quien visita Montevideo no puede dejar de ir a Colonia de Sacramento, situada a 177 km de distancia, al suroeste del país. Aparte de turistas de la vecina Buenos Aires (solo las separa el Río de la Plata), la ciudad recibe a muchos visitantes europeos y estadounidenses, quienes quedan sorprendidos al encontrar un reducto de estilos arquitectónicos: construcciones de estilo colonial portugués (casas de piedra con techo a dos y cuatro aguas), que coexisten con edificaciones de ladrillos y techos de azotea típicos de los españoles. Y es que Colonia de Sacramento fue la única población fundada por portugueses en la zona del Río de la Plata (1680), pero tras acciones bélicas y diplomáticas terminó en manos del Reino de España, y en 1828 quedó definitivamente bajo soberanía del Estado Oriental del Uruguay.

En Sudamérica, funcionan como tal las terminales de Guarulhos (San Pablo, Brasil), El Dorado (Bogotá, Colombia), Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez (Santiago, Chile) y Jorge Chávez (Lima, Perú). El aeropuerto Viru Viru, en Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), se sumará a la lista de hubs sudamericanos. Hace poco, el Gobierno inició el proceso para llevar a cabo este megaproyecto, que incluirá una segunda pista de aterrizaje para aviones gigantescos como el Airbus A 380. Pandora’s box / CAJA DE PANDORA Alexis Ricardo fulfilled a lifetime dream: to get to know the homeland of his father, the Bolivian singer and actor, Milton Cortez. This 18-year old lives in the capital city of Mexico with his mother and took advantage of a school vacation to travel with his father, first to Santa Cruz and then, on Amaszonas, to La Paz, Rurrenabaque and Uyuni. Pero, pese a ello y a su escasa promoción, Deadpool es una tendencia cada vez más grande entre lectores de cómics y, tras la película, de cinéfilos que, en la mayoría de los casos, ni lo conocían. ¿Qué es lo que hace al “Mercenario Bocazas” tan popular en un mercado de ficción tan competitivo? Conocer a este personaje es comprender, en parte, su popularidad actual. Deadpool representa una conjunción de humor negro, insolencias, sexualidad y antiheroísmo. Resumiendo: es una reflexión y una crítica a los “seres superiores” de Dc Comics y Marvel, que en estos días observan satisfechas el río de dinero que fluye hacia sus cajas tras el estreno de Batman vs Superman: El amanecer de la justicia. DAIGOU, BARATO Y FIABLE Diagou, cheap and reliable

China es el mayor fabricante de productos de marcas lujosas. Sin embargo, adquirir algo en el país solo está al alcance de una minoría. Así surgió el auge de un sistema de compraventa que se conoce como daigou. ¿En qué consiste? En la asequible compra por internet de determinado artículo y revenderlo en un precio también cómodo, más barato que en el mercado local. Cabe mencionar que la tendencia no se dio por el auge de internet. William Yu, economista de la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles, le dijo a la BBC: “Es verdad que daigou es un fenómeno reciente, pero desde hace mucho tiempo existe la tradición de los turistas chinos que, cuando vienen a Estados Unidos, tienen como uno de sus objetivos ir a un centro comercial, comprar productos que son más baratos y llevarlos de vuelta a China para venderlos”. Pero el negocio tiene un atractivo más: el factor confianza. La gente está confiando en la persona o la marca que está comprando. Está claro, por daigou se adquiere fórmula para bebés, vitaminas, productos de salud, alimentos... 72

Atrás quedó la mala reputación de Snapchat y ahora hasta los museos y universidades tienen perfiles en la red social. Los padres que no querían que existiese porque supuestamente se prestaba para el intercambio de imágenes sexuales entre los adolescentes, ahora la tienen en sus celulares. Y son también millones.

Currently, the app has become a strategic part of the political campaigns in the USA. It is calculated that 100 million people use this app every day; 86% of them are under 35 years of age. The bad reputation of Snapchat has been left behind, and now even museums and universities have their profiles on this network. Parents who once before wanted to get rid of this app because supposedly it lent itself to adolescents exchanging of sexual images, now have Snapchat on their own phones. And they also number in the millions.

Su sabor es tan potente y poderoso como polémico es su origen; Chile y Perú lo disputan. Sin embargo, en ambas naciones esta bebida difiere en características y maneras de elaboración. El pisco peruano nace a partir de las vides traídas por los conquistadores españoles, que no eran utilizadas para la producción de vino. Se llaman uvas pisqueras y tras su cosecha son pisadas y sus jugos fermentados para luego destilarse en el alambique, siguiendo un tradicional método inventado en Persia en el siglo X. En Perú, al pisco no se le añade ningún ingrediente adicional; mientras que el aguardiente chileno es mezclado con azúcar y agua destilada para alcanzar un mayor nivel de alcohol.

Ingredientes / Ingredients 14 cubos de hielo / ice cubes 8 oz pisco puro de quebranta / pisco de quebranta 2 oz jarabe de goma o azúcar / special syrup 2 oz jugo de limón / lemon juice 1/2 clara de huevo / egg white 4 gotas de amargo de angostura (zumo de lima concentrado) /angostura bitters (lime juice strtong

Preparación / Preparation Llena la coctelera con seis cubos de hielo y deje enfriar durante un minuto. Desecha el hielo y agrega el pisco, el jarabe de goma, el jugo de limón, la clara y los cubos de hielo restantes. Bate de ocho a 10 segundos y sirve colando en dos copas frías. Decora cada copa con dos gotas de amargo de angostura.

Se popularizó tras una ley en 1920 que permitía a los panaderos empezar a trabajar recién a partir de las cuatro de la mañana. It is popular in the USA. Its preparation, with the base of corn flour, is very quickly as the dough doesn’t need to mature nor rise, it is just pan-fried and it is ready.

Es conocido en América desde inicios del siglo XX, gracias a la inmigración árabe. El auge reciente de los kebabs o shawarmas lo popularizó aun más. En África lo utilizan para llevarse la comida a la boca.

Es un pan sin levadura. Hecho de harina de yuca y asado en un budare o plancha, el casabe es un alimento de origen indígena, específicamente de las tribus de Centroamérica y del norte de Sudamérica. Se los consume con frutas y verduras y también acompañado de queso.

Es popular en la cocina estadounidense. Su preparación, a base de harina de maíz, es bastante rápida, ya que no es necesario dejar que la masa madure o levante, solo se cocina en un sartén una vez lista.

LA MÚSICA NOS HACE SENTIR VIVOS Durante este año, Música VIVA llevará a varias ciudades bolivianas una serie de conciertos gratuitos de reconocidos artistas y agrupaciones, como Octavia, Efecto Mandarina, Animal de Ciudad, Ch’ilaJatun, María Juana, Track, PK Dos, Mammut, Pasión Andina, Oil, Armadura, El Parche, La Chiva, Electroshock, Matamba y Código Fher, entre otros. Con el slogan “La música nos hace sentir vivos, con VIVA estás

vivo”, la telefónica busca promover la cultura musical y el talento en el país. La presentación del proyecto ya se realizó en Santa Cruz de la Sierra, La Paz y Cochabamba. A su vez, Sucre tuvo el privilegio de ser la primera ciudad en acoger uno de los recitales, en el teatro al aire libre Mauro Núñez. PRESENTAN VAGONETA MAZDA CON UN DESFILE DE MODA Imcruz presentó la vagoneta Mazda CX-3, la nueva joya de la firma japonesa que combina un diseño único, elegante y dinámico con grandes niveles de comodidad y funcionalidad. El lanzamiento se realizó en la boutique Bazaar, en Santa Cruz de la Sierra, donde la marca boliviana de ropa ¡Ohlala! exhibió su colección otoño-invierno inspirada en la automotriz. Además, hubo moda para jóvenes, el público objetivo de la Mazda CX-3. Los zapatos brasileños Carmen Steffens completaron los outfits de los modelos. Lola Group organizó el espectáculo.

UN AGASAJO PARA LOS NIÑOS EN SU DÍA La Gobernación de Santa Cruz, Cinemark Bolivia y Copa Airlines agasajaron a más de 300 infantes de 11 hogares de Santa Cruz de la Sierra en homenaje al Día del Niño. Los pequeños se dieron cita acompañados de sus responsables y luego de pasar ordenadamente por la dulcería, ingresaron emocionados a la sala para disfrutar de la película Zootopia.

LA FIT GALARDONÓ A AMASZONAS

APOYANDO ATLETAS Uruguay fue sede del torneo de fútbol Copa América de Olimpiadas Especiales, donde el equipo anfitrión resultó campeón. Bolivia estuvo presente con una delegación compuesta por atletas que fueron seleccionados en un campeonato realizado en Sucre; la preparación física tuvo lugar en Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Amaszonas fue el transportador oficial. El programa de Olimpiadas Especiales en Bolivia es parte de una organización mundial que recibe el apoyo en el país de organizaciones, instituciones y empresas, entre ellas el hotel Buganvillas, Coca Cola, Servicio Departamental de Deportes del Gobierno Autónomo Departamental de Santa Cruz, Textilon, Gobierno Autónomo Departamental de Sucre, Ministerio de Deportes del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia y la Federación Boliviana de Fútbol.

Entre el 17 y 20 de marzo, se realizó en Sucre la 20ma versión de la Feria Internacional de Turismo de Bolivia (FIT 2016) con la presencia de 14 países. Amaszonas recibió un galardón por ser la “primera línea aérea turística de Bolivia”.

Un grupo de periodistas de diferentes medios de comunicación recorrió la zona de la Triple Frontera (Argentina, Brasil y Paraguay) y las Cataratas de Iguazú para dar a conocer la nueva conexión aérea de Amaszonas entre Montevideo (Uruguay) y Ciudad del Este. El viaje fue parte de una alianza con diferentes instituciones, entre ellas el Senatur de Paraguay y varios hoteles.

La Empresa Estatal de Transporte por Cable Mi Teleférico premió a su pasajero número 40 millones y para ello contó con el apoyo de Amaszonas, que regaló a Luis Fernando Huayllani Gutiérrez un boleto aéreo en la ruta La Paz - Santa Cruz, ida y vuelta.
