當代藝術創作與 評論教育文學碩士 課程簡介 Programme Description 本課程專為在當代視覺文化和教育背景下，對藝術評論和藝術創 作深感興趣的藝術教師、藝術和設計工作者，以及藝術與文化相 關工作者而設。學員可選擇專攻 1) 藝術評論 或 2) 藝術創作。課 程著重藝術評論教育和當代藝術創作的高階理論和實踐。本課程 為全港首個開辦藝術評論教育和當代藝術創作，並強調當代視覺 文化之研究生課程。歡迎本地、國內和海外人士報讀。 This programme is designed for art teachers, artists, designers, and art-and-cultural related workers, who have different interests in art criticism or studio art in the contemporary visual cultural and educational context. It offers two streams and participants can choose either Art Criticism Stream or Studio Art Stream. The programme provides in-depth understanding and knowledge and application of comprehensive theory into practice in the field of art criticism in education and contemporary studio art. The programme is the first MA programme in Hong Kong which emphasises and integrates important elements of contemporary visual culture. Local, mainland, and overseas students are welcome.

demonstrate an advanced understanding of theories and practice concerning contemporary art, visual culture, and criticism in education;
•
obtain specialised pedagogical knowledge and skills in contemporary studio art and criticism;
•
demonstrate an ability to both interpret art and make informed judgments concerning the development of the art, cultural, and educational policy; and investigate and reflect critically on issues in contemporary art, culture and art education, and communicate with a high level of sensitivity and proficiency.
可選 1 年全日制或 2 年部分時間制報讀，學員可 視乎選科的情況選擇彈性修業，於 1 至 4 年內完 成課程。非本地學員只可報讀全日制課程。本課 程共包含 30 學分。學員需完成 6 學分的核心共 同科目、12 學分的專科和 12 學分的選修科。 上課地點為香港教育學院大埔校園或其市區分 校。課程採用多種教學方法，包括講授、導修、 個案研究、專業研究班、團體討論、批判分析、 網上學習和混合式學習。學員可於入學後選擇 1) 藝術評論 或 2) 藝術創作專科。 The programme duration is 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time. Students may complete the programme in 1 to 4 years subject to the availability of courses. Non-local students can only choose the full-time mode. Participants are required to complete 30 credit points for the programme including 6 credit points of the core courses, 12 credit points of the specialized courses, and 12 credit points of the elective courses. Classes are held at Town Centre and Tai Po Campus of the Institute.The delivery of this programme will adopt a variety of instruction methods including lectures, tutorials, case studies, professional seminars, group discussions, critical analysis, e-learning, and blended learning. Students can indicate their specialist course (Studio Art Stream or Art Criticism Stream) after admission to the programme.

入學條件 Admission Requirements 持有認可的學士學位或同等學歷。 通過初步遴選者或須出席面試。 如申請人持有的入學資格由非以英語授課的院校 頒發，一般須符合以下任何一項英語水準的最低 要求： IELTS 6.0；或 TOEFL 550 分 ( 筆考 ) 分或 80 分 ( 網考 ) 或 215 分 ( 計算器考 )；或 國家大學英語考試六級（2005 年 6 月以後應考 者，總成績不低於 430 分 )；或 其他同等資格。 A recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview; and Normally fulfil one of the following minimum English proficiency requirements if applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution in a non-English speaking system: IELTS 6.0; or a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test) or 80 (internet-based test) or 215 (computer-based test); or Band 6 in the Chinese Mainland's College English Test (CET)(a total score of no lower than 430 if the test was taken after June 2005); or other equivalent qualifications
