Starring X Factor’s Niki Evans as Mrs Johnstone, the superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award-winning Blood Brothers, and this production, having recently celebrated its 21st phenomenal year in London, continues to enjoy standing ovations at every devastating performance. In September we renovated the stalls auditorium seating and at the same time increased the legroom in this area. We also laid new carpets both in the stalls auditorium and in the main entrance foyer and decorated the lower walls of the stalls auditorium.

On the day that I write this note, I have the first planning meeting to discuss some further improvements for our valued customers: a major refurbishment of our stalls bar, the creation of an additional retail facility in the circle foyer and the modification of the box office to accommodate a new entrance from George Street.

In addition to the ongoing day-to-day improvements that take place, the restoration levy income will ensure that you, our valued customers, see the improvements that so need to be carried out to ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as we can provide.

Jamie Baskeyfield Jamie Baskeyfield General Manager

For over forty years, the voices of Ladysmith Black Mambazo have married the intricate rhythms and harmonies of their native South African musical traditions to the sounds and sentiments of Christian gospel music. The result is a musical and spiritual alchemy that has touched a worldwide audience representing every corner of the religious, cultural and ethnic landscape.
