This season, Milton Keynes Theatre celebrates its ninth birthday, and we’re looking forward to enjoying another year of the phenomenal success that marks the theatre’s reputation as a centre of excellence. Our Autumn season brings you a wide variety of shows. For families the highlight will be our magical pantomime Peter Pan starring the legendary Henry Winkler as the booable Captain Hook. Gilberto Zorio 18 October 2008 - 1 February 2009 This will be the first solo exhibition in the UK by Gilberto Zorio, one of the leading artists of the Italian Arte Povera movement founded in the 1960s. In the face of surging Pop Art, he returned to the use of elemental materials, such as water, stone, granite, iron and copper, and explored the spiritual and cosmic place of the individual in the universe. Zorio assumes the role of an alchemist, physically transforming materials through chemical and mechanical processes. For the exhibition at Milton Keynes Gallery he will be making new work in the gallery spaces.
