It is with great pride and immense gratitude that I welcome you to the American Osteopathic Foundation's 2024 Honors Gala, a celebration that is especially significant as we mark the 75th anniversary of our Foundation!
Tonight, we gather not only to recognize the remarkable achievements within the Osteopathic community but also to honor the legacy of an organization that has dedicated three-quarters of a century to advancing Osteopathic medicine, supporting our students and professionals, and enhancing the quality of healthcare across our nation and beyond.
This evening is a testament to the vision and committment of the many individuals who have contributed to the growth and success of the AOF since its inception in 1949. We stand on the shoulders of pioneers who believed in the power of Osteopathic medicine to transform lives, and who worked tirelessly to ensure that future generations of DOs would have the resources and support necessary to thrive in their careers. Their collective legacy is alive and well, as evidenced by the vibrant and dynamic community we celebrate tonight.
But none of this would have been possible without the inspired leadership of the 2024 Honors Gala Event Committee Chair, Linda Saulnier, and the record-breaking number of committee members and support staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. We are deeply appreciative to each and every one of you who has played a pivotal role in bringing this Gala to life!
The future of the AOF is bright, and it is thanks to the unwavering support of individuals like you— our donors, sponsors, partners, and advocates—that we are able to continue this important work. Your generosity and commitment to Osteopathic medicine make everything we do possible, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, I encourage you all to take pride in the progress we have made together. Let us also remember that the work is far from over. There are still many opportunities to make a difference, to innovate, and to lead. Together, we will continue to advance the principles of Osteopathic medicine and to ensure that our profession remains at the forefront of healthcare.
Thank you for joining us this evening, for your continued support, and for your dedication to the future of Osteopathic medicine. Please enjoy this special night, filled with inspiration, recognition, and celebration.
Here's to 75 years of Elevating Osteopathic Excellence—and to many more to come!

Tonight, the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) invites you to take action in shaping the future of Osteopathic discoveries. Every dollar donated will be matched, doubling your impact and accelerating the groundbreaking work of researchers who challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of medical science.
For 75 years, the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) has supported those who dare to dream big. At the core of every improbable discovery is a passionate investigator, unwavering in their commitment to push the limits of medical knowledge. The AOF has proudly stood behind these talented individuals—students, residents, and physicians—whose work has advanced both research and patient-centered care within the Osteopathic profession.
As Osteopathic professionals continue to break new ground, they remain on the cutting edge of medical discoveries. The AOF is dedicated to ensuring these researchers have the resources they need to see their innovative projects through to completion. Your support will help fuel this mission and empower them to reach their full potential.
The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the critical role of medical research in protecting public health and improving healthcare systems for the future. Despite its importance, federal funding for research is declining, making support from organizations like the AOF more vital than ever. In response, we are taking bold steps to fund innovative initiatives nationwide, partnering with researchers from colleges, universities, health systems, and corporations to keep the spirit of discovery alive.
Together, we will challenge the improbable, achieve the unthinkable, and realize the impossible. We will fund the dreamers who do, ensuring that the spirit of A.T. Still lives on in every Osteopathic physician who graduates. Through our collective efforts, we can change the landscape of healthcare in America.
Your contribution during tonight’s Mission Moment paddle raise will play a pivotal role in opening new channels of discovery and inspiring future generations of researchers. Together, we will make an indelible impact on the future of healthcare.
Join us as we lead the charge for the future of Osteopathic Research and Innovation!
