the initial reservation holders and are excited to be moving into their new home. “We’re looking forward to the simplified lifestyle the cooperative offers and love the no-maintenance aspect of this type of ownership. We lived in a beautiful town home that was getting too big for us. We’re
looking forward to living in a supportive, neighborly community and will enjoy the “lock and leave” aspect cooperatives offer, as we love to travel.” Vintage Cooperative offers its members ownership and equity in a maintenance-free, nonprofit community, governed
by its members. Amenities include underground parking with a car wash bay, workshop area, exercise room, library, guest suites, gazebo and raised garden beds. There also are common areas for gathering and complimentary “While You’re Away” services.
Vintage Cooperatives are developed by Ewing Development, a Pella-based company whose first cooperative was built in Indianola, Iowa eight years ago. Ewing Development is currently planning the development of an assisted livingmemory care community on the adja-
