Accounting Student Club (ASC) has held annual accounting competition named The Accounting and Business Competition (D’ABC) for the eleventh time. This event is held in order to represent Binus accounting faculty in accounting society. The objective is to enhance the society awareness of Binus International University and nurturing participant’s interest in accounting world. This year, D’ABC plans to have the global case to expand the scale of the competition to an international level as well as improving the existing programs of the event. We will maintain and develop out dedication and competence to ensure the success of this event. The goal of D’ABC: Bridging Across Borders is to improve D’ABC into a regional level accounting competition in South East Asia. Through this event, we could pioneer an international level accounting competition in Bina Nusantara University. The committee of D’ABC: Bridging Across Borders would like to request full support from BINUS University International and the Student Committee; as the committee believes that the support and coordination will be essential to make this event successful.

TARGETPARTICIPANTS The expected participants of D’ABC 2015 are high school and university students nationwide as well as universities from ASEAN. To accommodate our target and to grab more participants, direct and indirect approaches are used as the strategies. The targeted participants for the global case are 10 teams (30 participants). The targeted participant numbers for D’ABC 2015 is 100 teams (300 participants). Considering the number of the committees, teachers, and supporters of the event, total number of crowd on the event is estimated to be around 410 individuals. Several media partners will also be invited to the event.

OF
ACCOUNTING COMPETITION
Accounting Global Case (for Universities) It is an accounting competition that focuses in solving global cases related to accounting problems around the world. It is targeted specifically for universities students. The Global Case competition will be held online.
Accounting Competition (for High School and Universities) It is two days accounting competition that is held for both high school and universities students to beat the challenges in ever y stage provided. Students will be given variety form of questions (both theoretical and computation solving-skills questions) related to accounting knowledge and those who succeed in solving challenges given in ever y stage will proceed and be the champion of the competition.

The Accounting and Business Competition (D’ABC) 2015 has reached its 11th year, representing the consistency of BINUS INTERNATIONAL’s commitment in being the facilitator for students to expose their talent to reach the professional world. D’ABC is an event held under the banner of BINUS INTERNATIONAL University, which is well-known as one of the most prestigious international-class universities in Indonesia. The partnership will open up an opportunity for your company to be promoted to BINUS students. This promotion will create exposure of your brand to all the participants, judges, audiences, as well as BINUS students from various cities across Indonesia. This marketing opportunity will help create a positive brand image of your company to the recipients in the competition. Apart from a favorable marketing image, the partnership in our academic-themed competition will ensure that a potential workforce with good knowledge could be interested and possibly contribute to your company in the future. This is because our participants’ background comes from the best academic pupils in various high schools and universities.
