Profile Amos Goldreich is a photographer based in London who focuses on architecture and urban landscape. As an architect, Amos’s sense of space and detail, and appreciation of materials serve to enhance his photography. His work has appeared in numerous publications, which include: Time Out publications, Vogue, Architectural Journal, AA Files and Architecture Today. He has shown in group exhibitions in the UK. Methodology I photograph using a professional full frame digital SLR at a resolution of 12.8 megapixels, allowing photos to be printed up to A1. I use both zoom and wide angle lenses and also have the facility for on-site perspective correction with a tilt-and-shift wide angle lens. As photographs are taken in digital format, there is no limitation on the number of photos. At the end of the shoot the client receives a rough edit of a contact sheet from which images are selected by the client for further processing. This is the postproduction stage. The post-production stage covers handling, indexing and preparing the image files to suit the client’s needs. This does not include Photoshop retouching. The selected photos are adjusted and converted into a 75MB tiff file at 300 dpi. A DVD containing all required photos in tiff and jpeg format is then supplied to the client. Each project is costed individually, depending on its scale and the client’s requirements.
