Employee Value Proposition Transition As you know, in 2022 we launched Unlimited You, our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). The objective was to design and develop an employer branding strategy as OneALG, interpreting our organization’s culture, environment and uniqueness among colleagues, future candidates, and consumers. Since the acquisition of ALG two years ago, we have made great progress in our coordination efforts with Hyatt. As part of those efforts, we are pleased to share that we will soon migrate to the Hyatt Colleague Value Proposition (EVP).

What is Hyatt's EVP? Care connects us is our employeer value preposition, or the promise we make to prospective and current colleagues in return for their commitment. To communicate this promise, we must amplify this statement and the three pillars that support it: • We care (Care) • We Welcome You (Belonging) • We Open Doors (Discovery) Know more here: Hyatt's EVP overview.pdf

What does this Hyatt EVP migration imply? • At the external audience level (example: job seekers), it will involve the exclusive use of Hyatt EVP content in: • Job postings • Employer elevator pitch during interviews • Social networks, including LinkedIn • At the internal audience level, it will involve using Hyatt's purpose and values for any initiatives previously associated with Unlimited You. 14 | The Star Stories

The Good News

How can I access the available resources? By clicking here.

Who is the Hyatt contact person for EVP matters? • Avery Matthew (avery.matthew@hyatt.com), Project Manager - Global Talent Acquisition – for anything related to creating marketing assets, metrics, and other general questions. • Anisa Badr (anisa.badr@hyatt.com), Sr. Manager HR Communications - for anything communications related (e.g., how to embed EVP language into communications).

When will this migration become effective? Since January 1, 2024. We thank you for your dedication and support of all the initiatives intended to enhance our colleagues’ experience.

Sincerely, Global Engagement Team

Five Tips

FOR ACHIEVING NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

1

Write down goals First, it is advised to create a list that includes all the objectives and goals for the year 2024, such as saving money, moving to a new house, redecorating the kitchen, buying a new car, engaging in more physical activities, or learning a new skill. The discipline of writing is the first step for goals to be fulfilled. Many psychologists agree on the validity of this rule, as writing down actions, goals, and plans creates a greater commitment to reaching the objective. Writing down resolutions is powerful. 41 | The Star Stories

2

Define realistic goals To achieve goals, it is necessary to set objectives for each purpose with achievable activities. Psychologists always recommend this: resolutions must be attainable. They should be objectives whose achievement is measurable and verifiable. The concept of the SMART goal model is very helpful to make goals clear. S: Specific. The more detailed the goal, the better. This is the starting point, so details should be taken care of. It's important to answer the questions: what, when, how, where, with what, and who. The more information is provided, the easier it will be to define the path to the goal. M: Measurable. For an objective to be real, there must be a way to measure that it has indeed been achieved. This requires including some numbers in its definition, such as percentages, exact quantities, deadlines, or a specific time frame. A: Achievable. To make a goal achievable, a prior analysis of what the person has done and achieved so far is needed. This will help determine if the desired leap is possible or if it's better to take it step by step. R: Realistic. For an objective to be realistic, the person must be aware of the resources available to achieve it. T: Time-bound. Scheduling and setting a time for the objective will help discover if what is being done is optimal to reach the goal on time.

3 Set dates After writing down goals turned into objectives, it is recommended to set a series of dates. Each objective must be defined in time, as it will help mark the different stages that will allow reaching the proposed goal.

4 Have a plan to make it happen

An action plan is a roadmap that can help you achieve your goals and objectives. Just as there are many ways to reach a destination if you are traveling, a program can take many paths to achieve goals, meet objectives, and achieve results.

5 Record

Health & Wellness

progress

Resolutions that are kept secret can be difficult to fulfill when obstacles arise. Having a friend or group of colleagues with the same goals can encourage achieving them and focusing on the different objectives set.
