The Good News

Dear colleagues, As you have just learned from Mark Hoplamazian, we will continue our journey into 2024 as one Hyatt family. We are convinced we can build on the learnings and impressive successes of our first two years together – the launch and integration of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection (HIC), one million new World of Hyatt members enrolled at HIC resorts, and seamless interactivity between HIC and Hyatt digital experiences to name a few – as we align our organization and outcomes even closer. This organizational alignment is about growth and opportunity. We will continue to collaborate on our path forward, learn from one another, lean into our synergies, and create deeper value for our stakeholders. With the HIC Commercial Services, UVC, ALG Vacations, Amstar and Trisept teams joining Hyatt’s Commercial Services Team, and on behalf of Gonzalo del Peón, Ray Snisky, Rodrigo Llaguno, John Ische, and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to provide additional detail on how our teams are coming together:

• Gonzalo del Peón will transition to Senior Advisor Commercial Services, Latin America & Caribbean, reporting to me. Drawing on his deep experience of the HIC Commercial Services function, Gonzalo will lead Project Archer engagements designed to optimize performance in HIC properties, support the transition of the Commercial Services team, and maintain his existing leadership and representation of Hyatt and HIC with hotel industry associations and local governments. I am grateful to have Gonzalo in this role moving forward. His direct reports will join the respective functional teams within the Commercial Services team: ▪ Erica Doyne, Senior Vice President Marketing & Communications, will report to Amy Weinberg, Senior Vice President Brands, Loyalty & Data, to align our global brand efforts across our entire portfolio. ◦ The HIC Communications team will join the Global Communications team with Robert Martinez, Director Inclusive Collection & LAC Communications, reporting to Franziska Weber, Senior Vice President Global Communications, and taking on field communications support for all hotels in the LAC region. ◦ Also reporting to Amy Weinberg will be Kenneth Villamil, Vice President Global Product and Brand Development, who is joining Commercial Services from the Global Design team following Gary Dollens’ retirement.

The Good News ▪ Luis Nuñez, Senior Vice President Sales & Distribution Americas, and Bob Thye, Senior Vice President Revenue Management & Market Intelligence, will report to Jack Horne, Global Head of Sales, Revenue Management & Distribution, further leveraging our network synergies for the benefit of the Inclusive Collection properties. ▪ Miguel Oliveira, Senior Vice President Direct & E-Commerce, will report to Arlie Sisson, Senior Vice President & Global Head of Digital, ensuring a seamless digital experience across our direct to consumer and business to business offerings. ▪ The HIC Contact Center will come together with Hyatt’s Global Property & Guest Services (GPGS) team under the leadership of Jessica White, Senior Vice President Global Property & Guest Services, providing shared resources and the same level of expertise and care to guests and customers across the entire brand portfolio. • Ray Snisky, Group President, ALG Vacations & Amstar, and Rodrigo Llaguno, Group President Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC), will join Commercial Services and report to me to further align both our holistic distribution and loyalty efforts in the most effective and value-creating ways. As one Commercial Services team, we will unlock new ways to differentiate Hyatt in the marketplace, building on the ALG Vacations, Amstar and UVC teams’ deep expertise driving business to our hotels and building loyalty among guests and customers. • John Ische will report to Chief Information Officer Eben Hewitt, as Global Head of Technology Services and President of Trisept Solutions, which provides a unique portfolio of leisure travel technology. John will continue his responsibilities for the IT functions supporting ALG Vacations, Amstar and UVC, and be a critical leader in our overall IT evolution.

Américas: The newly created role of Vice President Commercial Services LAC will support commercial efforts in the new Americas subregion, reporting to Asad Ahmed, Senior Vice President Commercial, Americas, and a dotted line to Gabriel Felip, President, Latin America & Caribbean.

The Good News

EAME: Antonio González, Vice President Inclusive Collection Commercial & Marketing EAME, will report to Heidi Kunkel, Senior Vice President Commercial Services EAME, supporting commercial efforts across the EAME region. These changes within Commercial Services will go into effect on January 1, 2024, and until then, we will continue to operate as we have through year-end to ensure that we deliver on our goals and outcomes for 2023. We welcome our HIC, UVC, ALG Vacations, Amstar and Trisept colleagues into the Hyatt CS team with open arms and look toward our joint future with anticipation as we further integrate our teams and resources. As one CS team, we will innovate and execute faster and more effectively, enabling us to make a difference for our colleagues, guests, customers and owners. I look forward to connecting and sharing more on our upcoming All Commercial Services call on November 30th.

MARK VONDRASEK Chief Commercial Officer

World of Care

In early November, the Amstar DMC Meetings and Events Team in the Dominican Republic had the distinct honor of hosting a special signature corporate responsibility activity called "Sharing is Caring." This event brought together 270 attendees, including incentive travel winners, from around the world. Their collective effort was focused on assembling school supply kits that benefited 150 children in the Friusa community through the NGO 2nd Mile Missions, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting lowincome communities in Punta Cana and providing education for over 300 kids in the area.

The participants not only had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the destination but also to strengthen their relationships with colleagues. The activity served as a unique platform for fostering connections, with a special twist – a secondary goal that involved creating one-of-a-kind art pieces using the boxes provided for packing the supplies. This heartwarming initiative not only contributed to the betterment of the destination but also added a creative and collaborative element to the experience. We're truly grateful for the enthusiasm and participation of everyone involved, and we look forward to more opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

SELF -CARE “Self Kindness” TIPS by David Pritchard Have you invested in taking care of yourself? Many people shy away from the term “self-care” because they assume the notion is founded on ideas of selfishness or a lack of caring about others. Self care is essential to our lives. When you’re able to care for yourself physically, emotionally and mentally, you become better able to pursue your goals and enrich the lives of the people around you. WHAT IS SELF-CARE? Self-care is a generalized term used to describe things you do for yourself to make yourself feel good. Self-care is critical to our mental health and emotional state of well-being. When you prioritize yourself, you not only ensure you are the best “you” possible, but you reinvigorate yourself. You have more energy and joy to give in other areas of your life. Here are some self-care ideas if you’re looking for ways to increase your well-being: 18 | The Star Stories

Health & Wellness

1. GET PHYSICAL

We often overlook our physical health, but the mind body connection can’t be denied. When your body feels healthy and strong, your mood soars, and when you’re in a great emotional state, it shows in how you move your body. Make it a point to regularly engage in physical activities you love. Whether it’s going for a run, a walk, swimming or attending a yoga class, changing your physical state from sedentary to active is a simple and fulfilling way to take care of yourself.

2. CHANGE YOUR MINDSET

It’s hard to feel fulfilled when you’re constantly focusing on the negatives in life. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, learn to adopt an mindset of abundance. This is perhaps the most life-changing self-care practice you can incorporate into your life. Reframing your thoughts is a deliberate practice that takes time, but if you’re able to accomplish it, you’ll experience greater joy and fulfillment.

3. EAT NUTRITIOUS FOODS

When you think of self-care ideas as they pertain to food, you might envision treats like cupcakes, chips or mounds of savory, rich foods like lasagna or a juicy steak. While it’s certainly alright to treat yourself once in a while, you should envision selfcare in the form of more nutrition dense foods, like leafy greens, water and items that will make you feel energetic and strong. Take yourself to a local juice shop and find a smoothie that calls to you or try cooking a healthy new recipe at home.

4. TAKE A BREAK

If you’re feeling run down or spread thin, grant yourself the ultimate luxury: downtime. By taking the necessary time needed to recharge, you’ll bolster your energy and be able to return to your regular schedule with increased energy and gusto.

5. PRACTICE FOCUS AND GRATITUDE

Self-care doesn’t have to involve making major changes to your lifestyle – it can be as simple as finding a few minutes to reflect each morning. Instead of reaching for your phone or hitting the snooze button when you wake up, try a priming routine. This 10-minute exercise requires you to become conscious of your breathing, practice gratitude, visualize what you want and focus your newfound positive energy on accomplishing goals that are important to you. Creating a morning routine can help you to stay on track and centered throughout the day.
