Plant response to LED Interlighting What do we see with Interlighting?
At locations with installed interlighting we see a clear measured effect on phototosynthesis
“The light is effective in reaching the plant and keeping the leaves more photosynthetically active. Stefan Gulin, Oy Gulin Ab

Why more light is needed in the middle of the crop Top of crop “If a weaker truss passes the Interlight it becomes strong again, the Interlight is like a medicine.

Impact of LED Interlighting on fruit weight 2009-2010 first trial with horizontal interlighting in a 1000 m² compartment. In combination with 145 µmol/m²/sec HPS lighting “Tomatoes don’t lie. You can see immediately what’s happening with the plants when they get more light.” Martin Sigg, owner, Handelsträdgård Martin Sigg Ab

Possible lighting solutions, same installed power
“We wanted a heavy-duty lighting installation that didn't raise the plant temperature. Matthieu Serrault, Le Jardin de Rabelais

LED interlighting, proven results In 2012 the first commercial project: -
After following the trials they believed in the solution. Because of an higher efficienty an higher light level was possible. The greenhouse was too low for 100% HPS. This solution kept them in controle of the climate.
Installed light level:
110 µmol/m²/s Philips GreenPower LED Interlight 105 µmol/m²/s HPS
Their challenge:
- Find the right strategy to grow with Interlight. - Improve the winter production every year. - A consistent high level quality.
