Established in 1979 to produce high quality glass and glazing products the company uses up to date technology with an emphasis on attention to detail. We have always prided ourselves on our excellent glass products with everything from hardwood, PVC, aluminium, vertical slides, shop fronts, curtain walling and conservatories for both the commercial and residential sector. With an ever increasing demand for our products, the business grew from strength to strength over the years and with a strong tradition in top quality window and glass products the company rapidly expanded. In 2001 we opened a state of the art new timber products section at our existing factory. The factory is planned for the efficient production of all timber products and special emphasis is placed on vertical sliding sash windows and uniquely designed doors while we still maintain our tradition of excellence in all glass products. Employing over 100 people with the factory headquarters in Roscommon town and a Dublin based office Sean Doyle & Sons Ltd is ideally placed to provide a top quality service throughout the country. Established over 35 years ago by Sean Doyle the family run business relies on an outstanding reputation for excellence, wide ranging experience and a commitment to ensure our customers requirements are met. SASH WINDOWS

These products use the best of traditional features with a choice of deep moulded profiles, advanced timber section design and materials. Internal moulded bars are an integral jointed construction whilst external bars are bonded to the factory fitted glazing in a unique vented design.

The Sash window products we have developed appeal to both the aesthetic and functional requirements of architects, planning authorities, preservation societies and end users alike.

This product is manufactured with factory fitted double glazing and three coats of white paint as standard. Our products are handcrafted and go through a series of sanding processes to achieve a traditional look. The resulting windows offer all the high performance features of a modern product, whilst retaining the appearance and classic lines of original single glazed sashes.

THE BEST QUALITY TIMBER Sean Doyle & Sons windows and doors are manufactured using high quality hardwood timber. The main types being Iroki and Mahogany, both of which give excellent durability.

MODIFIED TIMBER A number of processes are now available which modify various timber species which are naturally less durable than our standard to produce high performance with excellent environmental credentials. Sean Doyle & Sons have been involved with the testing of these products and can incorporate them when specified.

When it comes to sizes and patterns, we can produce exactly what you need for individual projects. Although we show some selected sizes to help with proportions our flexible manufacturing process allows us to meet your size and pattern requirements.

ADVANCED SPECIFICATION Sean Doyle & Sons products are manufactured to incorporate the latest technology whether it be the use of engineered timber, dry vented glazing or BRFC window energy ratings.

CHOICE All products are made to order but use standard sections to help achieve certified performance requirements. Different profiles, glass and paint or stain colours are available to help you achieve the look and style required.

HARDWOOD TIMBER SASH WINDOWS The design of our vertical sliding sash window is the product of an extensive collaboration between our technicians and consultant architects to ensure that our box sash reproduces, as faithfully as possible the simple grace of traditional sash windows. In particular, the dimensions of our sash frames, meeting rails and glazing bars have been made slim, with traditional mouldings subtly modified to suit modern construction technology. sliding sashes are hung with weights or spiral balance retaining the long proven reliability of simple counterbalance weights. Quadruple draught strips stop rattles, and extremely high insulation glazing units minimise heat loss and down draughts. Hardwood timber and very careful attention to detail, minimise the swelling and warping that causes jamming on windows of lesser quality during wet weather.

There is something reassuring about coming home to a traditional timber front door. Our collection comprises many different styles derived from designs and configurations of entrance doors typically found in period homes across the country. Each door is hung on robust, fully adjustable hinges that are colour co-ordinated to the handle and door threshold. Fitted with multi-point locking mechanisms to approved standards featuring hook bolts and deadlock. Most styles in our range are available as a Town House door with three or five point locking. Ironmongery can be added as required including spy-holes, letter-plates, knockers.
