CHILTEPIN | Wild chile native to Central America, Mexico, and southwestern US. Extremely hot, measuring between 50,000– 100,000 Scoville units. Thought to be the oldest Capsicum annuum species, one of the top 3 hottest, 8 to 10” bushes produce loads of pea-like, 1/2” fruits.

TIBURON (ANCHO) | Mexicans use this pepper fresh to make chili rellenos. Heartshaped fruits, 4” by 2 1/2” at the shoulder. The richly flavored mature peppers are often dried and ground into chili pepper.

HABANERO | Among the very hottest ever! 1,000 times hotter than Jalapeno. Native to Yucatan, lantern-shaped, 1” by 1 1/2” pods with thin, wrinkled, light green flesh ripen to golden orange.

BIANCA (IVORY) BELL | Extremely high yields of medium-sized, blocky peppers with a rich, creamy color. Resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus.

LEMON DROP | Incredibly hot citrus-flavored pepper is a popular seasoning in Peruvian cuisine. Native to Peru, with bright yellow, crinkled, cone- shaped fruit are about 2-1/2” long and 1/2” wide, few seeds.

TENNESSEE CHEESE | Originally from Spain, where it is still used as a staple in many dishes. Fruits are perfect for stuffing. Round, apple or tomato-shaped, with a flattened base and a thick, delicious skin. Can also be used fresh like a bell, pickled, canned, or dried for paprika!

SERRANO DEL SOL | Used green or red. Perfect for chili sauce, salsa, hot pepper vinegar and pickles. Vigorous 30” plants are covered with 2”, thin-walled fruits.

CHOCOLATE BELL | A medium-large, very smooth 3 and 4 lobed fruits mature from green to a very attractive chocolate color.

JOE’S LONG CAYENNE | Bright red fruits are excellent for homemade hot sauce and dry well for ristras and delicious, dried hot pepper flakes. The 8-10” long, thin-fleshed.

MUSHROOM YELLOW | Squash-like fruits mature from green to yellow and are very hot. Excellent mixed with purple and red bell peppers and pickled. Can be dried.

SWEET BELL PEPPERS

BIG JIM | The largest of the chile peppers, with medium-hot fruits measuring 10 to 12” long. The best for Chiles Rellenos. Sturdy 2436” plants yield 24-30 pods per plant which tend to ripen all at the same time.

THAI HOT | Stocky, 8” plants covered with peppers that start out green and mature to red. 1 1/2” long fleshy pods are especially good in Oriental dishes and chili.

EARLY JALAPÉNO | Dark green, tapered fruits grow 3” long and turn from green to red. A hot jalapéno at 3,500 scovilles.

CORNO DI TORO RED | Imported from Italy with 8 to 10” long fruits. Ripens to a gorgeous red at maturity. Very vigorous. FISH PEPPER | Considered by chefs to be the best for cooking fish and shellfish. 18 to 24” plants feature decorative green and purple foliage splashed with white. High yields of very hot fruits about 1-1/2” long in a range of colors from white with green stripes, to orange with brown stripes, to a brilliant red, and even deep purple.

BARON (RED BELL) | Medium-large, sweet red bell adds color to fresh salads. Peppers can be picked green, or left to age to their brilliant scarlet hue. CALIFORNIA WONDER (GREEN BELL) | Bigger, heavier, blockier with better disease resistance than the original Bell Boy. 4” x 4” blocky fruits are ideal when used green, but let a few mature to wonderful bright scarlet for stunning salads. GOURMET ORANGE BELL | Blocky, 3 to 5” fruits with thick walls and crisp flesh. Early fruit continues over a long season, with good TMV resistance. SWEET BANANA | Early, heavy producer of light yellow to deep red fruits 8” long by 2” across, smooth and sweet.

CHEROKEE | Cultivated by the Native American tribe, productive plants produce rose to purple colored, 12–16 oz beefsteak. PINEAPPLE | Enormous, uniquely yellow-red striped beefsteak fruit. 5”+ meaty, mild flavor. Great yields. Indeterminate. BRANDYWINE | Dates back to 1885 and considered to be the world’s best tomato.
