The environment within the architecture would begin to change, taking the individual on a experiential and sensory journey. Spaces that melt and relax you, to spaces of high intensity that accelerate you to a state of euphoria The changing of these spaces will be controlled by the changing tide heights and velocities. The space and building fabric will expand and contract in sync with the changing tide height. Understanding the different pitches and frequencies used in binaural beats can relate to the voiume of water within the podâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s water chamber and the pitch of the sound it produces when reverberated. Whether the height of the tide can be used to create binaural beats within my building, it can certainly provide the narrative and journey as to what environmental and emotional state the building will be in at different titmes in the day.

The
route through the building will journey through the 3 layers of the architecture's identity. When the individual enters the library they will arrive in the data exchange chamber, where information and data is exchanged between others. It will become a promenade or amphitheatre of activity, a place to accommodate our online personas, our idealised selves. It will be the part of the building that will try to distract and occupy all of the user's time within the building. They will be captivated by the changing activities and ambience within the space. As if by accident or chance an individual may catch a glimpse and gain access beyond this space into the gateway. The library sorting office is the gateway between our outer online selves and our inner offline self, it decides what elements of our data will get broadcasted in the exchange hall and what parts get stored in the restricted collections. This area of the building is a more unpredictable space, it is open to the external influences of the environment, which become the main product and control of the building. External data will be analysed and categorised and environmental tidal conditions will control and power the movement, access and ambience within the library. For example different tidal states will create new routes through the building to encourage new journeys of discovery about oneself but also to prevent unwanted access to certain areas of information. Certain tide heights will allow an individual to travel through the gateway and into the restricted collections.

Beyond the sorting office are the offline restricted collections and reading rooms.The space is a sanctuary for our inner self, to review our own thoughts and data allowing us to fully reconnect and understand oneself. This space of enlightenment will allow inner issues to be addressed bringing your online self closer to your offline. Confessions can be broadcasted about your development in the exchange chamber. Or you can keep it referenced in your restricted collection.
