DIRECTOR’S NOTE Seussical the Musical, while energetic and upbeat, portrays a universal theme of acceptance. As Horton continues to stand firm in his determination to save Whoville because “a person is a person no matter how small”, it is that basic philosophy that I hope is instilled in all of our children. Through the stories of Dr. Seuss, this cast has learned invaluable lessons about what it means to be kind, grateful, to self-advocate, and to stand up for others when no one else will. The cast, crew, creative team, and parent volunteers have worked tirelessly to create this magical production. Thank you, to the following people. Without you, this production would not be possible. Brooke Morris, Randy Dulaney, Lori Day, Emily Nelson, Hunter Axton, Tara Johansson, The Bartz Family, Amie Charney, Amanda Day, Amy Murphy, Kris Parker, The City of Temecula, our talented cast, crew and Parent Volunteers!

She has been the Drama teacher at Vail Ranch Middle School in Temecula Valley Unified School District for twelve years. In addition to running the Drama program, she is also teaching seventh grade Language Arts this year. Jennifer started the City of Temecula Youth Musical Theater program seven years ago and is thrilled to see it grow from thirty students in the first production to where it is now! Jennifer would like to thank Brooke, Randy, Lori, and Emily. Without this great group of people, this show wouldn’t be possible! Congratulations to the cast on an incredible show. All the hours of hard work and dedication has created this magical performance. Be proud and shine on stage!
RANDY DULANEY (Musical Director) Randy Dulaney has been involved with the theater and music for over 20 years. Randy has been a part of several musicals and has stared in such productions as South Pacific, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat and Annie. BROOKE MORRIS (Choreographer) Originally from San Diego Brooke began her training as a dancer at the young age of 3. She then began dancing at a competitive level at the young age of 6 and made her first Musical theater debut as the littlest chicken in “Charlotte’s Web” at age 8. She has won several National awards for her choreography and dancing skills and holds the title of “Performer of the year”. Brooke started teaching at age 16 and has loved every minute. Brooke currently teaches at C.A.S.T dance studio in Fallbrook where she is their competitive Tap teacher. Brooke is going back to school to be a credentialed teacher in the Theatre Arts. Musical theater is Brooke’s first love. Dancing, singing and acting on stage is the best part of being a “TRUE PERFORMER”. Brooke started working for the City of Temecula Youth Musical Theater in 2009 and considers it her home away from home. She would like to thank the Cast on doing such a great job with the show. “REACH FOR THE STARS”. Brooke would also like to thank Jen and Randy for being the best creative team.
