Denmark is a small country in the centre of Europe. 55º North 12º East.

PHYSICAL FEATURES Denmark is a small country in the centre of Europe. Denmark is situated 55ยบ north and 12ยบ east. Most of Denmark is bordered by sea as it is in the Jutland peninsula. It borders the North Sea on the north and west, the Baltic sea in the east and in the south Germany. A part of Denmark is land (Jutland Peninsula) the rest of it are islands (Seelandia, Fiona, Lolland) and other islands like: Greenland, and Faroe islands. It is very flat, without mountains and short rivers. It has 43.100 km2. The largest river in Denmark is Gauden, and it is only 172 km long. The highest mountain in Denmark, is situated in Greenland, Gunnbjรถrn is its name and it is 3693 m high. The highest place in the Jutland Peninsula is Yding which is only 172 m high.

CLIMATE 

Victor Borge (3 January 1909 – 23 December 2000) was born in Borge Rosenbaum, was a Danish and American comedian, Borge did not speak a word of English so he moved to America to adapt his jokes.He died peacefully in his sleep a day after returning from a concert in Denmark.


Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg (2 January 1783 – 22 July 1853) was a Danish painter.He was born in the Duchy of Schleswig Denmark. He died in rare reasons.


FAMOUS PERSONS Erik Balling (29 November 1924 – 19 November 2005) was a Danish TV and film director.Balling started working for the largest and oldest Danish film production company, Nordisk Films Kompagni, in 1946.


FAMOUS PERSONS Hans Christian Andersen ( 18051875) he was a famous writer. Hans Christian Andersen was born in the town of Odense, Denmark, on April 2, 1805. Andersen's father, who had received an elementary education, introduced Andersen to literature school. In the spring of 1872, Andersen fell out of his bed and he died.
