Context DR.ME, a studio from Manchester, have set a live brief to make flags for an exhibition at Islington Mill on the 13th December. Flags are used to represent a country or group of people and can be used as a symbol, for communication or simply for decoration. Brief or Tasks Working with the partner given to you in the session (Lisa Collier), produce a flag which represents both of your interests and personal identities. You can use any medium or imagery that you like but it must be produced in a 150cm x 100 cm format and could be either portrait or landscape.

Preparation/Research suggestions Research different national flags and design trends Find common interests or aspects of your identities between you and your partner

Evidence – for this project students should submit A 150 cm x 100 cm flag which can be produced in any medium you feel is appropriate.
