For the garnish: 10-20 large whole shrimp 500 gr Cognac 50 gr Extra virgin olive oil 30 gr Salt and pepper to taste Lemons 80 gr Fresh rocket 80 gr Procedure: For the rocket pesto mix well at high speed for a short time. For the lemon zest, cut in very fine julienne strips and parboil 3 times Clean the shrimp tails well and sautée with Cognac
For the tomato marmalade: Ripe tomatoes 500 gr Granulated sugar 100 gr Glucose 100 gr. Orange peel: 6 small pieces 1 clove Lemon juice 60 gr. (add after cooking) For the garnish: Reduced vinegar 100 gr Green olives 50 gr Black olives gr Fresh basil 20 gr Puff pastry 200 gr Egg yolks 80 gr Pistachio nuts finely chopped 50 gr Procedure: For the ice cream, pasteurize all ingredients at 83° C and pour in paco jet glasses 3/4 full, then add buffalo mozzarella and rapidly bring down the temperature to -18°C. Peel tomatoes and cut in small cubes using only the outer part, without pulp or seeds and put all ingredients in a preheated hot pan and cook over a high flame for 15 minutes; after cooking add the lemon juice. Garnish with dices olives and drops of balsamic and a puff pastry breadstick.

All the sports and fun Lake Garda has to offer! For bike enthusiasts... Laghel Difficulty: medium Length: 30 km Gradient : 310 m Duration: 3 hours Pass through Riva del Garda towards Varone until you reach the Cascata del Varone (Varone Waterfall) where, keeping to your right, you begin an easy path that passes through the ancient towns of Ceole, Varignano and Vigne. Then begin a slight climb amid the splendid olive groves that dot the Arco basin. Here you begin a challenging, but brief climb that takes you to the chapel of Santa Maria di Laghel. At this point, proceed left in a landscape with forest and erratic
rock formations until a challenging downhill trail, at points broken, which comes out at the Roman bridge of Ceniga. After crossing the bridge, you cross the sate road that heads towards Arco, you pass through Arco as you find yourself pedalling through plum groves, passing through the rustic villages of San Martino and Massone. Once you have passed through Arco, you go on the beautiful bike path that follows the edge of the Sarca river until reaching the mouth, and follow that until reaching the promenade that will lead you to the lakeside of Riva del Garda, concluding a trip that is one of the easiest and most relaxing.

Torre Apponale
The Riva del Garda Museum, located inside the Rocca, an ancient medieval fortress right on the water is the home of a treasure trove of paintings and a significant archaeological collection. Each year the museum proposes shows and artistic events to help visitors discover the richness of the cultural and territorial heritage.
The Apponale tower, 34 metres high and situated on the eastern side of Piazza III Novembre, was constructed in the 13th century to guard the port and the piazza. Since 2002, after a complete restoration, you can climb the 165 steps that take you to the top of the tower where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the piazza, on Riva del Garda and the lake.

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta (St. Mary of the Assumption) The parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, of Baroque construction, is located in the centre of Riva del Garda and faces the grand Piazza Cavour. The interior has just one nave, with a prayer chapel to the side and many Baroque altars with friezes and stucco work.
Il Bastione (The Bastion) Il Bastione, erected to protect Riva del Garda after years of Venetian domination, is a symbol of the city. Constructed in grey stone, the bastion is situated at the base of Mount Rocchetta, dominating Riva and the lake, and is reachable in a few minutes from the port of the city. Varone Waterfall (4 km)
Monte Brione, separating the towns of Riva del Garda and Torbole, is highly appreciated by naturalists due to its flora with a variety of species that can proliferate thanks to the sub-mediterranean climate.
The Varone waterfall is one of the most prized natural attractions in all of the Garda Trentino region. The waterfall is fed by the underground seepage of the splendid Lake Tenno forming the Magnone river, that cascades down nearly 100 metres and is an incredible sight to see. In addition to this spectacle of nature, you can also visit the park and botanical garden.

Marocche Biotope (12 km)
A portion of the Archduke's park created by Archduke Albert of Hapsburg in 1872 near his villa, the Arboretum contains vegetation from various continents and, due to the mild climate of Arco, important holly oaks and exemplary specimens of conifers dating from the time of the Archduke.
The "marocche" were created by landslides dating back to the glacial age. The area of Marocche di Dro has been protected for many years as a biotope and has a visiting path where you can admire this unique natural oasis.
Marmitte dei Giganti (The giants' potholes) Nago (4 km) These are deep potholes with glacial origins formed by the water fused with ice that, falling in to the crevices, caused a vortex of stones that slowly eroded the rock. The principal hole is located near the panoramic road that connects Nago to Torbole.

The ruins of Castel Penede are a panoramic point of rare beauty where you can admire Lake Garda in all its splendour. In the forest below there are remnants of a large wall in stone with a part of the stairway in vivid red stone.
The medieval village of Canale di Tenno, located on a slope halfway between the Alps and Lake Garda was recently inserted in the official list of "the most beautiful villages in Italy" thanks to its typical stone paved streets, its porticoes, the internal piazzas and the houses that will remind you of a village from the 1200's. In this splendid little town there is the Casa degli Artisti that is a meeting place for artists from all over Europe.
The archaeological site of Monte San Martino, located above Campi, has remains of a large edifice. Historians believe it was once a sanctuary where female deities were worshipped.
After a painstaking restoration, you can visit the castle made up of a swallowtail embattlement that encircles the remains of the palace, a small chapel and other buildings. From the 25-metre high tower dating back to the 1300's, you can admire the stony ground of the Marocche.

In the wake of the success of the major exhibition of 2009 Cold War - La Guerra Fredda 1945-1970, the prestigious collaboration between the Mart and the Victoria and Albert Museum of London continues with a new exhibition entitled Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990. As a continuation from the preceding exhibition, this event intends to explore the concept of Postmodernism, which burst onto the scene in the 1970s, firstly in international architecture and then to broader cultural fields. The exhibition provides an opportunity to reconstruct a picture of culture in those years through the transformations that took place in architecture and design, but also via the stimuli offered by movies, the world of fashion and the great revolutions that changed music and youth culture.
